Don't be jumping conclusions now, it's how you set up against Man City at there ground. ;)

Honestly can't see Chelsea and Liverpool concede six goals at there ground.

Not 6, but 3 at least I'd say.

Hmm, well I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

As a Liverpool fan, I sure as hell hope we don't concede six or three against them. :P

But first things first, got a tough game tomorrow against Tottenham.

Thoughts are with Soldado and family after his wife sadly miscarried.

Our results so far this season against the genuine title contenders of this season and the past few (City, Chelsea, Man Utd.) just show how far we really have to go to win the title, and I still firmly believe that we are only top of the league due to a kind fixture list :(.
My sneaky suspicion too 👎 - not helped by a boat load of home fixtures in the first half of the season against mid table opposition. Man City do look formidable at home and less so on the road, where as Arsenal have been ok away, but I think this just shows the gulf in squad squad depth and quality between the two sides.

I laughed more than I should have at the following on Motd.
Pardew: "It all got a little pantomime at the end there"
Lineker: "Oh no it didn't!"

Sad to hear.:(

I think that Steve Clarke sacking was too harsh, West Brom have been ridiculously unlucky so far..

Now that's more like it, United. 2-0, both signed by Welbeck.

Keep that going now. Gonna win with 5-6 today!!!

United win 3-0 in the end, Welbeck with 2 and Cleverly scoring his first in exactly a year, means United move one place to 8th in the league..

...also Norwich-Swansea finished 1-1, Dyer getting the swans goal with Hooper equalising, but the match was overshadowed by a nasty looking ankle injury to Dyer, he needed oxygen as he was stretched off and he has got suffered a suspected fractured ankle, I wish him well in his recovery..

Tottenham fans have been doing nothing but boo and scream at players but to be honest they have been very poor this half.

Liverpool's best half this season, Sterling,Suarez and Coutinho are brilliant.

I thought they would struggle without Gerrard and Sturridge but they have been brilliant fair play..

their worst home defeat in 16 years and are now 5 points of the Champions League places..

Finally back to winning ways for United after no win in 4 games. Also good to see Darren Fletcher back playing again.

Get in there!

Fantastic performance by us today, really proud on how everyone performed. Everyone showed grit and
determination, even without Gerrard and Sturridge aswell.

Confidence is high at the moment, however I know Chelsea and Man City will give us sterner tests when we play them. But if we play like that today, I'm sure we will give them a run for there money. :)

So BeIn Sport have claimed that Andre Villas Boas has been sacked/removed as coach. On Reddit, one of the top comments is:
Breaking News: Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked, have been sacked.
Since they aren't being too serious, I'm going to say he hasn't been sacked, but some people are calling for his head.

Unbelievable - how can he be judged 16 games into a season where they are sitting above Man U in the table. Pitiful.

The problem with Spuds is their stupid little chairman. After a couple of iffy results he gets twitchy and pulls the trigger, not like I'm complaining, I detest Tottenham.

Damn. Too soon Spurs, too soon.

Who's going to replace him? Martin Jol? All the top managers are managing.

It's a (mis) quote from Futurama, specifically from Bender's Big Score.

Spurs made a big big mistake.

I agree, what's the odds on Redknapp going back?

Also at this rate come the end of the season almost 2/3 of the managers in the BPL will have been sacked.

Couldn't agree more. Being a supporter of another London Club, I'm loving this news because AVB was not the problem there. Most of the Spurs games I've seen have been completely down to the players missing so many chances. If they could actually finish, they'd be a deadly team.

Lineker has tipped Glenn Hoddle for the Spurs job, I can see it happening as well.

Hopefully the sins of his previous managerial life at Spurs won't come back to haunt him...

I don't really mind who gets it as long they keep their hands off Michael Laudrup!

Not sure what to make of this, Spurs have been poor but AVB should've been given time to turn it around

Also Gianfranco Zola has just resigned as Watford boss..

Give Sherwood and Ferdinand a go, if they're not good enough, Laudrop or Pocchetino.

Oh and...
^ lol

£85M for Gareth Bale...
That's right up there with £35M for Carroll

I don't know who is crazier:

-RM for offering a world record fee for a ONE-season wonderkid.
-Spurs for not accepting immediately.
Much preferring the keep Bale option now...
