Jack Wilshire banned for two games for flipping the bird to the City fans, which is about right as Suarez had the same ban for doing the same thing...so at least the FA are consistent...

He got a 1 game ban. The FA has no consistency, not that I'm complaining about an Arsenal player being banned.

Oh right, thought Alex meant the other way around, I.e. Wilshere got a 1-match.

The second part of Alex's post now looks good and my post looks ridiculous.

Edit: And Tree'd for good measure.

Just booked a seat for the Arsenal v Tottenham FA Cup game :). It will be awkward walking out of the same tube station in red and white as the Spurs fans :sly:

Should be a great atmosphere, plenty of booze will be going round seeing as this game is on a Saturday evening :D

What?

And in other news, Malky Mackay is told to either quit or be sacked.
http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25457024
To be honest, Cardiff's owner is an absolute ******. Mackay is doing a decent job at Cardiff having got 4 points out of 6 from the 2 Manchester clubs already. It's definite that he'll be sacked but the question is now or after the big match against Liverpool at the weekend

And whilst we're talking of Liverpool, Luis Suarez has signed a new long term contract saying on Liverpool's twitter "I am delighted to have agreed a new deal with Liverpool and have my future secured for the long term. Without doubt the backing I have received from the #LFC fans has influenced my decision. I am so proud to represent them."

That definitely isn't what he said during the summer

Whatever, best striker in the league with us until at least the end of the season. :D

He better not be hungover tomorrow

I've seen that photo on Facebook. It had the caption, "Suarez might have just signed a £225k a week contract but he's still sensible and buys his booze at Costco!"

Tan has got to be the worst owner/chairman in football right now, to give Mackey that treatment after the job he has done just beggars belief...

Anyway its the last footie weekend till Crimbo and here's the games

Saturday

Crystal Palace v Newcastle
Fulham v Man City
Liverpool v Cardiff (12.45 BT)
Man United v West Ham
Stoke v Aston Villa
Sunderland v Norwich
West Brom v Hull

Sunday

Southampton v Tottenham (1.30 Sky)
Swansea v Everton (4.00 Sky)

Monday Night

Arsenal v Chelsea!!! :D (8.00 Sky)

I agree totally @MUSC4EVER, Mackay has got Cardiff into the Premier League for the first time ever and the fact that Tan is complaining about the fact that they overspent by £15 million in the transfer window in just stupid as many signings were needed to compete at EPL level.

Anyway, the pick of the bunch out of that lot has to be Arsenal v Chelsea. A big game in the title race and also to sort the battle on who will be top on Christmas Day. At present, any one of the top 4 can be top on Christmas day.

Fantastic news on Suarez signing a new contract for us. Kind of abit surprised, thought he might have waited until the end of the season to be honest.

I expect a hat trick now tomorrow. :sly:

I had a horrible dream last night that Wednesday's new manager was Roberto Mancini.

Another 3 points, very nice. We are top for Christmas if Arsenal don't beat Chelsea.

That's-a him over there!

He's-a ruined surprise. Was manager.

United 1-0 up at home against West Ham through a Danny Welbeck goal.
Edit: 2-0 - Januzaj

Just got home from work and turned on the TV to watch Januzaj put nr 2 for United. :D

Edit: Young comes on for Januzaj, and scores with great precision finish up in the top right corner! :P

At least we seem to be on a winning run now. The first half was fantastic (apart from Januzaj's dive) and we took about 15 mins to get going in the second half but Young scored a great goal. Their goal was just down to poor defending from Buttner playing Cole onside.

Another good win for United and its been a good week as well, three games, three wins, eight goals, one conceded and two of those games were away...right now we are eight points off top and only five of the Champions League...that's a lot better than about a month ago!

Good result today, continuing the momentum we have currently got. Have to give credit where it's due though, Cardiff showed tremendous fight there at the start of the second half, so fair play to them.

Next up Man City, looking forward to it and confident we can get a good result. :)

Liverpool will be happy that they've managed to secure Luis Suarez for the foreseeable future... another 2 goals and an assist today... that's 9 goals and 7 assists... in the last 4 games.
