The fact that we even have this dude playing for us feels like a dream. It's absolutely incredible, and our league position equally so.

Suarez is insane, hope we beat Chelsea on Monday that not being top of the league thing isn't nice :D

I don't fancy us to beat Everton, we haven't even scored against them in the league let alone beat them

Cardiff just released a statement saying Malky Mackay will remain in charge for the foreseeable future and the manager and the owner are working to salvage their relationship...

So we lose to Everton again :indiff:

Their two goals were something special though!

The league table is very close throughout, shows why the premier league is the most competitive league in the world. 👍

Fun fact: Man City have scored more goals in the first 17 games (51) than 12 teams in 38 games last season.

It's quite bizarre, they have a +31 GD.
Tottenham have -5, and still they're only 5 points behind! Spurs have scored one goal more than Fulham in 19th pos.
(Tottenham has managed to score 18 goals so far this season, Louis Suarez has 19 for Liverpool!).

so Game sadly might get called off, Arsenal still confident it will go through but weather is apparently terrible, would be awful if it gets cancelled.

How does rescheduling work for the Premier League? Can they just move it to tomorrow, or will they have to push it back farther?

Will be put off for a few weeks, won't be tomorrow like in Champions and Europa Leagues.

Seems so far so good, it's very likely to happen now.

Pitch looks ok

Cant wait for tonight, no idea what's going to happen, im not going to predict anything im just going to sit back and enjoy it....

A 0-0 but certainly not a boring 0-0 is the best way to describe that game.

0-0 is fine by me. Happy for Liverpool to be top of the league for Christmas, just for the confidence boost. It's incredibly likely we'll be 4th or 5th by the new year with away trips to City and Chelsea next up.

Wenger, please PLEASE PLEASE just buy a decent striker in January :banghead:

I like Giroud but he is costing us points against the big teams, most notably City and Chelsea. I'm sure if we got hold of Suarez or even Higuain we would have got at least four points from those two games, putting us on top.

If Wenger ends up buying a nobody from League Deux as per usual or another midfielder I will lose the plot

You're comparing him to RVP though, who is a top 10 striker in the world. The top 10 are pretty much all accounted for at the moment. You MIGHT have a chance with Diego Costa but even so, Atletico haven't done this well in a while.

I didn't say RVP in my post though ;).
The problem is we had a golden opportunity to get Higuain (the deal actually looked nailed on a one point) during the summer, but for one reason or another (probably money related) the deal fell through. So instead we got Ozil.
Whilst I am very happy we got him, on a list of priorities an attacking midfielder is not what we needed. That £40m could have been spent on a striker of genuine quality, but instead Wenger panicked and bought someone we didn't really need after fans were calling for his head after the Villa game.

Happy Christmas everyone!! :D

Thought the match wasn't as boring as it sounded it very feisty and Mourinho will definitely be the happier of the two managers

Also I think giving Sherwood the Spurs job permanently is the right decision, he might not have any managerial experience and he doesn't have a UEFA Pro License but he has been a coach at the club for the last few years so he know the club and the players inside out..

Happy Christmas to all of the fellow football supporters! Have a good one!
