Even if you see a GTPlanet user from the same country as you are, you're expected to post in english :)👍

Oh, sorry! :guilty:

I just informed him when German-TV is broadcasting so he doesn't need to watch the live stream.

If you can receive the German channel "Sport1" (like most German TV channels it's freeTV) then you can watch the race from 13:00 local time til the end with good image quality.

Someone's running an Opel Manta? :scared:

On my phone at the moment so can't see anything :(

As every year since 2004 or ´05 I believe. (edit: actually much longer than that, but since then it´s the only Manta, before that, Kissling had up to 3 of them running)

Hope you can see the image on your phone.

It´s currently still ranked 3rd in class (SP3), in front of the Gazoo Racing Toyota 86

The TV coverage is rubbish because of all the ad breaks. Better off with the stream.

Does Darren Turner have a GT setup at home? Didn't quite catch that on RLM. Could be mistaken but I think that's what I heard.

Ha, this is awesome. :D

It looked a very light touch, but the driver left the car and jumped over the armco :grumpy:

👎:grumpy:

Awesome is the fastest lap of it! 9:57.467 (for reference, 2nd fastest lap in class was done by #149 a 10:25.941!)

Not bad for a 1990 built 1.8 Liter normal aspirated engine, with about 260Bhp and 1250kg vs. new cars such as the GT86.

GT6 on the official stream now. :)
The GT-R, in the vid, is the ´12 one right? Not the current model.

It's not a car from 1990. It's a completely overhauled chassis with the latest racing parts. I do agree it's awesome to see such an old car way up there, but it's not as if this car comes straight from 1990.

👍

Sorry if I was unclear, you are right of course.

The GT-R in the video has a huge rear wing, just like the 2013 model.

I don´t know if we where watching the same vid

John Hindhaugh does. That person he was talking about who asked about his Special Event time and he was going to bill for the divorce? Me

There was a booth at Silverstone last year over the GP/F track in the N24 GT-R. He let me have two laps and then he had a go at chasing it for six laps - he was about 1s ahead up to Schumacher S and 0.1s down at the finish

They have two GT5 setup with G27s at the RingWerk area. Line was too long so I didn't bother. PlayStaytion also has a presentation stage there.

Gazoo Racing brought one of their nicer GT86 tuner cars along for display, truly marvelous.

Three Astra´s (#303; #305 and #110) now ahead of the best VW (#113 Golf R) 👍 👍

Manta on track 👍 6th in class

That's actually quite a cool anecdote! John seems like a proper GT nerd ;) So as far as bragging rights go you surely have a nice "trophy" there! Looking forward to next Wednesday's Midweek Motorsport segment with some GT6 content as well.

Shame about the 007 after the restart though :/
