Why are ppl linking Mata away from man united? Surely we wouldn't sell him he's a good player for us I like him as a player. I think he deserves to stay. It's not up to the media to decide just because they can't fit him in the line up doesn't mean that he has to be sold. LVG will know what to do with him he's a proven number 8

Players of the Premier League?
Polish Performance Lubricants?
Portly Pretend Lesbians?

Anyway, Wednesday beat Reading today - first home league win of the season - to go into the playoff zone, only 3pt behind the top of the league, and the only team to take 3pt off us this season.

I've heard many good things about this Stevie May.

As for Wrexham, we are 6 points off top and 2 points off the play-offs but with a game in hand to catch up due to the virtue of not playing today; we are playing on Monday in the derby away at Chester.

But this derby is a bubble game, much as it was last season. That means that all the away fans have to travel to their club's home ground and be exclusively shepherded and escorted by the old bill. So anybody who is there to watch Wrexham, the away side, must first travel to Wrexham's home ground where the police will escort all coaches to Chester. In some cases, Wrexham fans have to drive past the ground where the game will actually be played in order to be escorted from their home ground. Ridiculous.

On top of that, North Wales and Cheshire police have been sending letters to people who may or may not know known hooligans. How legal and/or necessary is this?

Again, ridiculous. It's a Conference game, it's not Galatasary vs Fenerbache. There hasn't been any hooliganism at this fixture for over 20, maybe 30 years.

Blackburn back to winning ways 1-0 over Fulham, who are rooted bottom of the Championship.

EDIT: Liverpool 2 down to West Ham after 7 minutes

Can you give a source that isn't you that says he's leaving?

United's strikeforce of the day:

David de Gea,
Rafael, Jonny Evans, Tyler Blackett, Marcos Rojo,
Ander Herrera, Daley Blind, Angel Di Maria, Wayne Rooney,
Robin van Persie, Radamel Falcao.

Should be interesting. :D

So Mata has been left out of the starting 11 even though he had a really good game last week, yet RVP is starting when he's done nothing in a United shirt for a while now.

Just because it's Leicester, doesn't mean it will be an easy game.

Leicester beat Stoke, Stoke beat City... See... ^^
I see this game as a chance for RVP to get his name on the scoresheet again, not playing Mata isn't going to have a huge effect.

Anyway, if Chelsea beat City today, they are 5 points clear and even at this early stage, it's hard to see anybody catching them.

I agree that it should be a game where van Persie and the others can show what they can do, and and van Persie and Di Maria has just made it 2-0. :dopey:

Di Maria with an insane chip from 18 yards over the keeper...

Edit: 2-1. Hrmf. ;) Great header from Ulloa. De Gea had no chance.

Edit:

What the hell, United... Total collapse... Well done to Leicester, they deserve the win.

Van Gaal, do you now realise we need better defenders? Geez.

My enthusiam for Football took a big beating last evening after our 🤬 performance against Westham... However, I'd like to thank Manchester United for cheering me up

Moyes never conceded more than 4 goals. But the question is this; do United sign two referees or two centre-backs?

So I have been away this weekend back home to South Wales to see family and the Swansea game yesterday, back in Wrexham in time to see another shocking United performance (Story of our year!), despite losing yesterday I quite enjoyed it as we literally had front row seats and got close to the players..

Man City 0-0 Chelsea half time, decent game very competitive with quite a few bookings..

Frank Lampard has just scored against Chelsea!..

1-1 full time, Palace beat Everton 3-2 and West Brom beat Spurs 1-0......what the hell has happened this weekend!:lol:

Man that was a weird weekend of Football, Liverpool, Man United, Spurs, Everton all lost, Chelsea and City drew and Lampard scored for City AGAINST Chelsea!...

Chester 2-1 Wrexham

Hobson ('74) --- Hudson ('1)
Heneghen ('90+4)

I 100% hate football. Call a mortician because I am going to die of alcohol poisoning.

When I got the notification that Frank scored against Chelsea, I was absolutely heart broken. He scored the leveling goal, taken points from Chelsea, and scored against the team that he was such an important part of for so long. I have to give him credit for being a proper player and scoring rather than thinking twice about that. Was great to see he still got a standing ovation from the Chelsea crowd.

Got to say, I'm completely wrong so far with my predictions. Southampton and Aston Villa 2nd and 3rd at the moment, I tipped them to get relegated haha

Everyone talks about how bad Young's diving is, and it's bad... But Marcelo just reached a new low against Elche. :ouch:
