So i was in work yesterday from 1 till 11! so i missed all the football but i catched up by watching Goals On Sunday this morning, here are my thoughts...

...Decent win for United i thought, Rooney challenge was rash but i thought the card was harsh, but he knows better than not to do that now and he is the captain and should be setting on example, on a brighter note McNair had a great debut and we are now above Liverpool for the first time in forever!

...as for my other team, a point after we lost last week is a good result and we are still fifth in the table, but we had another player sent off, Rangel this time and thats two in one week

...i thought to the Derbies were a bit of an anti climax, although the Arsenal-Spours game sounded great and in the other game Jagielka will never score a better goal in the rest of his career, and i think Rodgers will be the most disappointed out of the two managers because they lost thier last two games before yesterday and they needed the win more out of the two teams..

Stoke v Newcastle tonight, massive game for The Toon and for Pardew in particular!

I can't wait for him to return to Chelsea. I thought he played brilliantly last year in Holland, and he seems to be doing quite well in Germany. Honestly can't wait for him to come in as a winger next year for Chelsea.

Will he have a place though? The sheer amount of CAM's and Wingers at Chelsea will make it hard to even get on the bench.

Massive news for United fans...RONALDO IS COMING BACK HOME!!!

....to play for Portugal in a friendly against Argentina at Old Trafford on November 18th......

Honestly can't wait for him to come in as a winger next year for Chelsea.
Or for another mid-table team in the big 5 leagues since Chelsea already have their wingers.
Or Vitesse. Again.

I'll probably head to the Arsenal-United game on Nov 11th. The Emirates is one of the London grounds I haven't been to yet.

Football this weekend...and its all about Sunday!

Saturday
Aston Villa v Man City (5.30pm Sky)
Hull v Crystal Palace
Leicester v Burnley
Liverpool v West Brom
Sunderland v Stoke
Swansea v Newcastle

Sunday
Chelsea v Arsenal (2.05 Sky)
Man United v Everton (12.00 BT)
Tottenham v Southampton
West Ham v QPR (4.15 Sky)

No early kickoff tomorrow.....

All three scorers in that were English....good days football with bags of goals in just five games, Villa v Man City to come, Benteke on bench...

Slightly disappointing that Swansea drew top bottom team Newcastle, though that said we do actually move up a place to 4th...

Man City beat Villa 0-2 with Toure and Aguero getting the goals in last 10 mins, Villa defending was great for much of the match...

Angel di Maria and Falcao with the goals for United in the 2-1 win against Everton.

But man of the match is definitely David de Gea! :dopey:

Some real insane saves he had.

Great win against a good team, in to the top four for the first time since August 2013!

De Gea won us the match though and he is the first PL keeper to save a Baines penalty ever!

QPR's dismal run continues....

Got a bit feisty between Wenger and Mourinho earlier didn't it?!, Wenger pushed Mourinho!

Just found this statistic on the BBC, Costa scores a goal for every 2.11* shots.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has had 19 shots this season, 16 of them have been on target with nine resulting in goals.

Chelsea always have a game plan and they follow through with success, they won the match because of the Ref though simple as that, a clear red card and penalty denied for us. Still 2 school boy errors lead to goals, with better concentration and a ref who doesn't bottle it, Arsenal could have easily gotten something.

So then in your opinion, it wasn't a red card for Koscielny or for Welbeck either..? Plenty of decisions that weren't were going both ways in that one. Calling the ref out for only half of them is just sour grapes.

Chelsea looked better than Arsenal all over the field. Sure, they planned to break up Arsenal's play with little chippy tackles, but it worked (like it always does) like a charm. Arsenal need to figure out how to beat teams that play physically against them, not just cry about how the other team are being mean or the ref is blind. It worked last year, it worked this year, and it will keep working until Arsenal come up with an answer for it.

Neither Ozil nor Cazorla work hard enough to help out their fullbacks, and Flamini is the only player who looks interested at all in helping cover on defense through the middle of midfield. Wilshire's temper gets the better of him a lot, especially in games like this and it make him a liability.

Look at how much all of Chelsea's midfielders do on both sides of the ball; Oscar works harder than almost anyone, and the wide players always track back to make challenges in the midfield. Then you have Matic breaking everything up, and even Fabregas will lay in a challenge here and there. That's why Chelsea won, and it's why they're so good in general. They have loads of talent to hit you with when they're on the ball, but they have a fantastic work ethic on the other side as well, and they stop other teams playing football.

Koscielny's tackle he was lucky yes but wouldn't say it was a clean cut terrible tackle infront of the 4th official Welbeck's tackle was during stoppage time (won't affect the result).

Arsenal are lightweight no doubt and I'm not saying they deserved much but these decisions would have changed the game.

Russell Slade appointed Cardiff Manager...

FA will take no action over the little bust up between Wenger and Mourinho yesterday....Wenger should've 'nutted him!

It has finally happened.

Milton Keynes Dons 2-3 Wimbledon

So Roy Keane has got a new book out in which he predictably lays in to Man United, which I'm not bothered about tbh as its all in the past now, love that story about Robbie Savage though, that's hilarious!

So as someone who's in America, and can't watch La Liga games anyone can help me out with watching direct me to sites that showcase online. Trying to tune into Real Madrid games, but in regards to this thread who's the favorite this year?

Yes I am a new soccer(I know)/football fan

Going for Manchester City:)
