Well... that makes things entertaininger... It's worth a note that we've played every team in the top 5 twice except Watford and we haven't failed to take a point from any of them (Bournemouth, Lost-Drew; Middlesbrough, Won-Won; Norwich, Lost-Drew; Derby, Lost-Drew) - in fact the only team in the top 8 to have done the double on us are Wolves... We lost to Watford the first time we played them and play them again on the final day of the season :D

Elsewhere, Wigan beat Brighton to stave off relegation for another week, Bristol took the draw they needed to become champions and I think Burton's victory is enough to promote them - while Shrewsbury also won but so did Bury to keep it rumbling on. The Conference goes on to the final week.

GO Latics!

EDIT: Somebody say something! So I will not double post.

Wow. With all of those list tags, Famine better be OK with me doing this. I hope to hell I got it right.

EDIT: Just saw that Rotherham got deducted 3 points. As a result, the ORs changed to ANDs in the Wigan and Millwall equations.

Watford can get promoted today and are 1-0 up away to Brighton, Brighton look up for the fight though.

Not at all - but remember that even very large goal differences don't come into play until the end of the season. That means that some of your eventualities need rejigging - Bournemouth can't be promoted this week, for instance, even though they can make it almost certain bar ridiculous results on the final day.

Also, despite being nicknamed "Boro", there's only one "O" in Middlesbrough...

At the moment, Middlesbrough are losing 1-0 to Fulham and Norwich aren't beating Rotherham - which sends Watford up as it stands...
Extraordinarily, Fulham nab a winner in the 94th minute to beat Boro 4-3 and Rotherham equalise with 5 minutes to go to draw 1-1 - and Watford are promoted!

Apparently the Boro keeper was up for a corner, it was a costly decision in hindsight but they needed 3 points.
The point would have been enough to push Bournemouth to game 46 - but as it stands now, if Bournemouth win on Monday it is almost certain that Boro will be in the playoffs due to the goal difference.

Elsewhere, Shrewsbury beat Cheltenham which sent them up, then Hartlepool beat Exeter which sent Cheltenham down. Then Tranmere lost to Argyle, which sent Tranmere down too.

The last matches of the Conference season are about to kick off, so we'll find out who the League's newest club will be in just under 2 hours!

If Middlesbrough fails to get promoted again, I think @Peasantslayer will crush the computer.

Unless Reading get their finger out, Rotherham are about to relegate Millwall and Wigan - despite the points deduction.

So Rotherham did relegate both Millwall and Wigan last night and someone from Millwall questioned Rotherham's bottle beforehand and boss Steve Evans responded after the game by saying 'someone from Millwall said we had no bottle, but now we have 12 bottles of Champagne...enjoy League One lads...'

Just goes to show, be careful what you say about people because it might come back to bite you on the arse!

We are staying up say we are staying up! #VTiD. We are Vale! Super Vale, from the Park! No one takes us! Stokies hate us! We are Vale from the Park!

Tranmere Rovers are relegated to the Conference.

HAHAHA!

AHAHAHAHAHAAAA!

HAAAAAA!

That's two bubble games for us next year.

Wich team do you support?

Wrexham. Watching Tranmere fall gives me great satisfaction. Especially after reading some comments on Rovers boards and seeing how big headed their fans are towards life in the non-league; very interesting to read how a 'big' team coming down sees itself.

Undeniably we were the same at the time; we won our first Conference game 5-0 with 10 men but here we are, seven years later, still in the Conference.

I can only wait for reality to spill over Prenton Park like an Exxon Valdez full of hoofball semi-professional ooze.

Today!

Premier League
Nothing, though there'll be some knife edges for next week with the right results. Or wrong ones.

Championship
Bournemouth are up with any result that isn't at least a ten goal defeat, and only then if Boro win by ten also. Relegation is done, so there's only really the last playoff places to fight for. Ipswich will secure one with a draw, and Derby will with a win or a draw, providing that Brentford or Wolves don't win by 16 (or 20). However, Brentford and Wolves both play relegated sides, so Derby will need to ensure they get at least the point.

League One (Also tomorrow, not today)
Preston are up with a win. MK Dons can only pass them if they beat their result. Other playoff places are assured already, but relegation is a hot mess.

Coventry need to win to be safe, but if they draw they're safe unless Crewe at least win while Notts County win by 4.
Crewe are less secure due to an awful -31 goal difference. Again a win will keep them safe, but if they draw they will go down if the three teams below them win (and Coventry draw).
Notts County will be secure if they win, but they will be relegated if they draw while Crawley, Colchester and Leyton Orient win.
Crawley are more perilous but can be safe if they better Notts County's result AND at least equal Colchester and Leyton Orient's. They are playing Coventry, so a win will put them ahead of the Midlanders.
Colchester and Leyton Orient are in a mire that means nothing less than wins will do. And even if they win, they're depending on Notts County and Crawley drawing. The Os will still go down though is Colchester win...

League Two
Relegation is done, so it's all at the top now.

Shrewsbury take the title if they win and Burton don't.
Southend are promoted if they win. Bury are promoted if they win and Southend don't. Wycombe can only be promoted if they win, Southend lose and Bury do no better than a draw.

An 'as it stands' table. Very unusual to see a not yet promoted side above a promoted side.
