The official MG team name is:

MG KX CC FS Racing. That's the worst shortened name ever.
That's unreliable data.

Their official name is MG KX Clubcard Fuel Save. If it is shortened, it's not official.

An MG man said it sir.

I think they should change it to "MG Save 20p a Litre with Jason Plato Racing"

That can't be reliable though @daan i mean it's only on the official series website so it can't be trusted as the wind is blowing at a heading of 341 rather than 341.2

I really think you're deliberately ignoring the point of everything i've said, because you still don't get the fact that in order to state a fact from a certain timespan, you can only show data from that timespan.

Using BTCC - if I wanted to get the race laps of Honda's, to show they were said tenths ahead of Ford, I couldn't pick some laps from practice. They have no bearing on the race laps.

I can definitely see that coming. It's going to be excellent. The Tourer looks fairly strong, but Jordan is in a class of his own.

Yup the Honda's seem to have an edge here on Thruxton but I keep my fingers crossed for an outsider to make a podium.

I have to wait until tonight to watch the races. I can't recieve ITV here in France so youtube is my friend. No twitter and GTP for me this afternoon ;)

MG might struggle a little today. I don' think it's going to be super strong round Thruxton.

Always do.

I wonder if anybody knows, why don't the teams use the main pit garages? They're all using trucks and tents.

They're too small and there's not enough garages for all the teams.

Totally didn't realise it was Thruxton this weekend, I woke up this morning with the plan to buy some tickets as it's just down the road....bit late now.

Absolutely fantastic pace from Jordan. Not the closest race ever, but that 3/4/5 battle was superb.

And Newsham has gone gardening on his cool down lap

Still find it funny how Honda every so often whine about turbo/not having enough straightline speed. Looks like they were just fine today ;)

Also does anyone have any info on the story that's doing the rounds about potentially penalising the RWD cars more because they're getting 'too good' starts?

That was rejected a couple of days ago.

Honda have VTEC this year. Lots of VTEC-y power going on.

The RWD starts aren't as great as they used to be in my opinion. They did try in 2007, but it ended in broken driveshafts and completely butchered BMW's. To me, it's just a variable factor that makes the BTCC what it is.

Ginetta Juniors being incredible in that race, superb driving from all of them. So much respect between them.

EDIT - Last corner needs work. As Paul O'Neill just said, "haven't had that much excitement since Alton Towers"
