Good. Glad to hear it. I'm all for variety in racing, and a great believer that an open rulebook, rather than a restrictive mandate to make everything the same, allows for smaller teams to do things differently and close the gap. For example, BMW/RAR Audi don't always have the ability to go toe to toe with Honda and MG, but RWD gives them advantage in certain areas.

*The Tourers (I refer to the factory Honda's as Honda, Pirtek as Pirtek).

That engine's had a lot of time in the Civic, but it does have a fair bit of punch at the minute. Probably will get turned down fairly soon, as I can't see Andy complaining about that amount of power.

I'm noticing a lot of "all four wheels off" moments... Hoping the race order isn't manipulated too much.

Not sure I saw Nick walking away in that tracking shot of the leaders on the red flag lap..

Giovanardi, be amazing please.

Jack Goff for race 3 that insignia is constantly the fastest in the speed traps so if they tyres last he should do it.
He does tend to like his race 3's. Looking forward to a mixed up front end of the grid.

Foster didn't see Austin, and Austin got a tad out of shape under braking. The car stopped quite violently on the tyres though, so they'll have a fair bit of work to do.

EDIT - Oh dear, Foster is really miffed at Austin.

Plato has been pretty anonymous so far.
The MG just isn't a good chassis in comparison to the Honda's, BMW's, and even the Ford's when in their prime.

Power/stability tracks are where they shine.

It's stable, but it just can't carry raw pace through corners that require fine balance. It seems to grip a lot at the back, whilst the others are a bit more free at the back. The Honda's pace does mask the pace of others somewhat though.

Nasty crash for Jackson.

Plato's day gets worse. Gio's doing okay to keep it in 2nd, he just needs to fend off Goff well. Jackson's quick in 4th though.

Thruxton's a funny one for setup. Even though it should theoretically suit stable cars over twitchy ones, the SWB Honda's work really well. That's probably down to a good lump under the bonnet too.
