Collard's revenge was something else

That escalated quickly in those last few laps. Gio yes! That was a touring car race and a half.

Shedden was driving brilliantly, but there's no denying there were double waved yellows.

Jackson's sure there were greens, so we'll wait and see on that one.

Shedden's move was illegal, there were clearly waved yellows.

Loved the day's racing overall, sets us up nicely for Oulton... so who's coming then? :D

Sheddon. The veiw the tv had was from behind. AFAIK if you are past before reaching the marshals post it's ok. Is the Marshals post not quite deep in the corner.

That were brilliant driving and revenge by Collard, First he got tapped sideways by Sheddan i think i thought he was gone then but no he saved it locked the fronts to keep the car in check. And then stupid Neal tried having him off so Collard were like "Ah screw this..... Bang into neal" brilliant racing.

WELL DONE TURKEY !!!!

Shedden pulled alongside at the entrance of Church and completed the move though the corner. I like Shedden, but over taking under yellows isn't acceptable

Had a look again. If the only yellows were at the marshals post on the corner I think shedden was level with Goff. If there were yellow flags at the marshals post before the corner (as they were doing the previous lap) he's busted.

Even if he was alongside, that's still a yellow flag infringement

Going by the letter off the law every driver could be penalized as none of them were any slower than they had been when there was no flags. Thruxton should be made to get air fencing or something similar as tyres are no good for that corner.

If they are level how is it an infringement.
Probably because the pass was taking place in the yellow zone. It doesn't necessarily have to start and end in the zone to be illegal.

Oulton... my racing baptism :sly:
Can't wait for it.

You won't be disappointed, I promise!

Is the flag zone not from a line directly across track at marshals post to same scenario at green flag post.

The best bit is the merchandise and promotional stuff.

Oh, and the racing...:P

I got a picture with John Surteess though ;)

As for the Shedden issue - if he even made a move that should be illegal. It's a yellow flag zone, you see the yellow you don't even try a yellow until out of the yellow zone.

It's a bit of a minefield when you first get there, so just mill around the back of trailers. It's got us birthday messages, autographs, photos and garage tours before, so a bit better than queuing for ages in the pit walk ;)

What a superb races! May the other European countries go the same direction with Touringcar Racing! It's absolutely brilliant what the BTCC is pulling off!!!!

You look at WTCC, then you look at this, and you wonder what should be representing touring cars on a world scale.

Exactly! No need of expensive factory teams! Even the great champions of the past return to BTCC. These kind of races get me excited for motorsport. Loved race 3 even if it was over the limit with the yellow flag but damn what an excitement :D

V8's and BTCC are equally as good to me. Any series that promotes gutsy driving and true passion sits in my good books.

The Jandal quote is also going down as one of the greatest motorsport quotes in the past decade, i'm already looking for t shirts to have a memento.
