Giovanardi's first words on what he's looking forward to most...
"Jason Plato"
I envisage smashing and crashing beyond belief.

Can I just announce I've spent all my life savings investing in the fibreglass industry.

Should have a good return :)

How I feel right now

Will all cars be starting with same amount of boost etc or will the honda's for example have their boost cut back ??

I only counted 6, are you including sub-class champions or have I missed somebody other than Giovanardi, Neal, Shedden, Jordan, Plato and Menu?

Turkington won overall in 2009 making the total 7. There's no word yet whether he's staying but it's almost certain.

I hope he comes back but if the funding isn't in place it won't happen :( It's a shame BMW RLL didn't have a place in their USCC line-up for him because he is very talented.

According to his twitter there is no news yet :indiff:

WSR said they're making an announcement in the next few days, and they have good drivers. I think Turks is safe.

In case anyone missed it, ITV4 showed and are showing a pretty cool 3 part documentary called "Touring Car Legends" on Wednesday at 8pm. Had some great footage of touring car racing in the '50s/'60s/'70s and snippets from drivers of the time (and more current drivers as well) etc. 👍

Frank Wrarthall has been found guilty for his role in the death of a cyclist and has been sentenced to two years in prison and has been banned from driving for four years.

He'll be out this time next year i'd imagine. Wonder if he'll ever race professionally again? Unsure of how a driving ban effects a racing licence.

He knew it was going to happen that's why they sold the cars to United Autosports.

I'd imagine he'll never race again because no sponsor will touch him with a conviction like that.
