It sucks I didn't get to watch the entire German vs. Algeria match, but I did get to the two goals Germany made. At least I have this gif to cheer me up.

I do want the US to win, that said Belgium is playing a bit better and they might win in the long run, should be an interesting match, at least I hope so. Same for the Swiss tomorrow however Argentina has way more odds in it's favour.

It's easy to just be amazed by what Algeria did, but I think a lot of credit has to be given to Germany as well.
The way they held that hurricane called Algeria, the way they tamed it, and the way they slowly turned it around and have taken control of the game was superb.
I still think their first goal was lucky, but they had lots of other opportunities that they could've easily scored as well.
Even their physical condition was surprisingly good - considering the 120 mins and how dynamic Algeria were.
True, they were nothing spectacular, but I think they were very effective and that there's more than meet the eye.
Seriously, that's just lame...

Argentina v Switzerland on now with Belgium v USA the last last 16 game on tonight, there is no football for the next two days, Quarter finals start on Friday with two games then and two on Saturday, then there's no games on for a few day until the Semi's start..
