The same idiot who got us out of that group.

I know, I'm kidding. But, man, Bradley really screwed the pooch out there at times. He is a great defender though.

I would have liked to see how the US would've done with a healthy Altidore. It looked like they played the tournament without any strikers.

I didn't watch the game today, because of work, but I heard Bradley played a lot better today than in the group stage.

Altidore gets made fun of so much for his Premier League efforts, but he always plays well for us... Would've been nice to see his hold up play in combination with Dempsey.

I'm excited to see what our back 4 could look like at the next world cup. Yedlin was great when I saw him, Besler too, and Johnson hopefully only get better.

Dat Julian Green tho. Really happy he chose to play for us, he's going to be big.

Actually no, the more time we got in this cup the more random it gets, even if the top 8 teams that were top in their groups end up here. To be honest the biggest surprise has been Costa Rica, which for some reason I believe is going to be really really tough.

Brazil-Colombia game is like ... rolling dice, for one there is the moral boost and the commitment Brazilians might have because of being in their homeland, that said (and to be honest) they have sucked a bit, the way the play is not how it used to be, possession and control has been lacking but they pull out good stuff when they are on pressure. Colombia is a different story altogether because they have excellent control and possession, hence why they have been invincible thus far, but it doesn't guarantee anything since it's competition hasn't been too stellar (coming from a strong Ivory coast, to a lacklustre Japan, to a average Greece and then to an all wreck Uruguay).

Is going to be a long way until Friday.

Edit: Oh, and I got to watch the US game, that was awesome by the US team, even if those guys didn't win they still pull out a hell of a fight (well Howard took the shall not pass quite seriously).

Good to see the referee has a can of shaving foam handy just incase Marouane Fellaini's hair gets any bigger.

They better keep it ready if Belgium would move on to the finals. He said he would get his head shaved if Belgium wins the WC :P

You guys have no idea how incredibly hyped this entire little country is for this match. 2/3rd of the country has been granted an hour later to show up at work tomorrow morning

Population: 11M
TV-viewers BEL-USA: 4.1M + 0.5M on big screens + countless amount of people watching in bars

Not sure how that translates in hangovers, but that must be a record as well...

If the US played like they did in the end the whole match they would have won

... funny how so many people talk bad about Bradley but the commentators here kept saying how great he was o.o

People underestimate how bad his loss to the squad was.

156 goals in this World Cup so far, there were 146 in South Africa 2010....in the entire tournament!

I'm quite nervous again, I believe Colombia will be as hard as Chile. :ouch:
I think the brazilian team is too young, it seems they can't handle the responsibility.

Its game day!, first up is France-Germany with Brazil-Colombia on later...

A bit surprised they didn't have a minutes silence before the game for the victims of that Bypass collapse, maybe they'll have one before the Brazil game...

Not to be cold-hearted to the victims, but it was more of an accident with 2 casualties, is not a large number but it showcases a bigger problem which is infrastructure problems.

Perhaps before the Brazil, although I don't see that happening.

Edit: Damn, France be closing in.

0-1 half time, France have had they're chances but the Germans look fairly comfortable, good game!

Disappointed that the French haven't made their chances count. It'll be a shame for them to go out because they deserve a semi.
