This is why I would wait for the online time trials to begin. You can never trust how smart the organizers might be when dealing with the settings. đź‘Ž

Why is that

Well think about it, all the fast people may be at one venue, and they miss out because of a top 3 system? So, the 10th fastest at 1 venue, could be quicker than all 3 people from another venue but they go through and he/she doesn't? that doesn't seem fair to me.

It then becomes a competition based on luck and where you live, not on skill.

I got my name on the top on the first and then again on second venue. Thats because i had a target time to beat. Now i am on number 8 and fear getting knocked off the board. We got 3 or 4 venues left now. I can still be faster cause i know what times are possible. What do you suggest? Should i travel 1000s of km to do that?

14 from online also get selected.
Online will be fair for all depending on how much time one can invest.

That is the most unfair thing I have heard!
I agree its completely unfair.
Like you said one particular area can have more skillful racers compared to another.

Well that's up to you. But I'm sorry to say, if you're not fast enough, then you're not fast enough.

It sounds like you want that 'rule' to benefit you so you are safe.

If you are worried about being knocked off from the live qualifying, then concentrate all your efforts on the online portion.

The first event is open. Currently at 1.03.862. Is there anyway to like filter the rankings just to see who's fastest from a particular country?

Yes, even I'd like to know this. I believe it's not possible in-game for sure, I've tried everything. I am running high 1:04s. Got it in less than 8 laps. Will try further later I guess. Can surely cut atleast 400th of a second.

BTW, my PSN is Vype-R do add me as a friend, most of my known friends dont play GT so I am quite alone in the friends list. :)

1:04.7
I'd like to know how would this progress, if anyone has the info, please share..
With my time, even though I have gold, I am sure I wont be progressing to the next round, as I am some 25000th or something (last I checked a few days back). That'll surely not make me qualify for the next rounds.
And is the official ONLINE leg for India too? No info on the Nissan FB Page about this yet, so I am confused on what's going on!

Just consider this a warm up
I guess only final round would be taken into consideration
