R.I.P thread. Still think that it should be a worldwide competition and not country based. Say if someone from another country comes 20th or something and is faster than the fastest Indian that isn't fair imo.

Hello guys, this has been interesting read. I played a lot of GT5, the GT 6 i bought is not much used (20hrs maybe).

I am excited to post my time here in Bangalore. I was there yesterday to find out which car they use.

Came back home and tried with the GT-R N24 Academy car, managed 2:11:XXX with stock (racing hard tyres).

Reading all this material here, looks like i am trying with the wrong car, will go home and try it.

Planning to do a live run on Sunday.

So its all aid off except ABS 1 with Racing Hard tyres ??

Hey guys I just got qualified yesterday. But those organisers were idiots and did not let me check out the options such as tcs or srf or the tires. I got a time of 2.05.6** 9th rank for now but I'm sure I will be much better during the online qualifications. And the car was that n23 schulze which is in the game but I felt it definitely handled a bit different. And also about the tires I'm gonna guess it's racing hard but not sure.

I gave a try also and got a time of 2.08.0xx. At home I was able to do a time of 2.02.xxx without too much effort on Racing Hard tyres. With Sports soft was losing 4 seconds, mostly because I couldnt get on the throttle early since the tyres heat up and loose grip.

At the venue, it was surely Sports soft, and the car handled a little different while braking (was shaking a lot). The speed readings were in miles so wasnt sure if the car was slower. I initially lost time because the throttle had a lot of range compared to my dfgt setup.

I still dont know where i lost time, because all 5 laps i was on the right lines and carrying a lot of speed. So my feeling is that something is different there which costed me atleast 1.5 seconds.

Hey iostriker, would love to see any video of your lines and speed. please share if possible.

Sure man but I have no clue on how to upload my replays here lol. Currently for round 3 I'm at 2.14.147 I'm sure I can get a mid to late 2.13s so I'm trying for that. Or you could just send me a friend request. My goal is to be in the top 250 by the time the final round starts . I'm currently at 253 I think.

Nice going ionstriker. All the best with your runs.

As for me not finding much time lately, cause these things really take atleast 4 hours for a solid attempt. But i love to. Which track and car is the current round.

+1 on that, plus the ergonomics of the racepods was completely off, took me a few laps to get somewhat used to it and even cut my leg! plus, no forcefeedback, and the annoying MC and all the noise, didn't even allow me to plug in my headphones. currently 6th, bad time, but ionstriker, you're killing it in Bathurst man! good stuff!
