(The Indianapolis 500 is one of the most iconic races in the world, with a history spanning 105 years. On Gran Turismo, we've been holding it since 2010, with four different winners thus far. However, this year is different. This year, there are two Indy 500 races in a single Turtle Beach IndyCar Series season. This race will open the season, leaving plenty of reason for someone to leave their mark. As with any series, there are regulations, and as with any open wheel series, those regulations tend to be a lot. You do have to make an attempt on one of the Bump Day sessions to validate your provisional.

I waited till well after the qualifying was done to ask. I even said please. The thread was made with this long well made format to display results, and now you dont even want to finish it? But you all read what I type how you want to, for whatever reason. Angel finally meets someone who talks straight like she does, but IM the ass. Um, ok. So a threw a small money motivated hissy fit regarding car color. Thats 1 compared to HOW MANY times you've went off in these threads Angel since Ive met you online? Im trying really hard to be nice to you and bite my tongue as Hardy asked I do, considering what you've been through, but your constantly picking a fight with me for no reason is making it really hard. Why everyone else wants to pour it on out of the blue to attack me (including "teammates") is beyond me, Ive done nothing to any of you, so STFU. Well 🤬, sorry if you feel attacked. I speak my truth upfront and you do come off quite rudely. Does that mean you are in real life? Who knows? I will admit, Angel does have her moments too, and it's something you can both work on. If you think I'm offended of your tone, news flash, I'm not. I'm simply affirming what Angel had told you from a third-person perspective, because I don't know you that well. We're not walking all over you. Really? You're 37 and yet you rant like you're 10. I pointed out a fact EVERYONE (including your teammates, who I feel very sorry for) can agree with. Your ranting just further proves my point. I'm done dealing with you and your ranting for zero reason. I've reported the matter to Hardy and he will judge accordingly after Indy.
EDIT: I even admitted I act like a brute sometimes. In the position I'm in, I have to. I was asked to stay hardened and stern. Not my fault you are the only one asking the most really unnecessary questions and the only one trying to pass off as a brute when it isn't your job. Are you leading the series? No. Are you a series official? Again, no. Then lose the digital attitude and sit down while I do everything I humanly can to do this and not want to punch something.

Forgive me if I didnt treat the official thread like a holy Ten Commandments. Ive seen you and the rest yuck it up on there too, so it isnt some sanctimonious thread that cant be used to ask questions of the series and get on the same page with the rule makers and get clarification on holes I see in the rules.

Im just here to have fun and play nice and support everyone and treat everyone fairly and make sure we all get a fair set of rules to race by. Everything I ask doesnt need to be taken out of context. I have to say, with the group of people we had, Indy was going to be hard. Never realized exactly how impossible it would be but I've given up on a few.

There is a licensing system, but it's too easy. All I had to do is run 5 laps at Indy and Apricot by myself and go fast enough. There wasn't a single standards test which disappointed me, I take pride on being a fairly clean driver.

If this race counts I am D.O.N.E. with this circus. I do not see Hardy's logic in counting this, even for partial points. You can not warp the rules and race procedures halfway in, have everyone get screwed over by incompetent children and internet issues, and still have it count for ANYTHING. Even at partial points this disgrace to my city's pride and joy may have championship implications. I am 100% positive that no one wants to be screwed out of a championship by a Kamikaze move in round 1 that shouldn't even have happened. But let's just let him make the "right decision".

As for the gentlemen who have taken time out of their work and other daily plans to make this event, I understand why you would want it to count. I too have dropped everything to do this derby, and had 10 more productive things I could have been doing. This race however was just unfair with the mid-race elimination of the Safety Car procedure and ensuing stupidity and lag. Not to mention there were occasions beforehand where there should've been a caution and there wasn't, resulting in being screwed over then, as well as drivers taking free passes when they shouldn't have, gaining an advantage when they shouldn't.

Everyone (including the race directors from yesterday unfortunately) needs to get their heads out of their butts and learn a thing or two before they get all hyped over a "professional" sporting event. Yes, this includes me as well. I made my fair share of mistakes and I apologize to anyone I may have hindered. I thought this IRG Indy stuff was cool and top-notch, I was horridly wrong.

Before he looks at the replay today, Hardy has said that if the race is to be counted, the race would be counted at lap 101 and would be for standard points. He has absolutely no clue of exactly what happened, but based on post race reactions and messages he received as soon as he got on, he is as fuming as we are, and I will take my share of the blame. We know rule changes are coming, but I took the wrong step in trying to change a couple mid race (lap 110). So the idea of counting up to lap 101 isn't too out there. I'm also predicting everyone to get some sort of penalty. There's no real way around that. I'm just hoping that either drivers learn quickly from this, or that Hardy cuts them entirely. My ultimate wish is for a road course only series. That should have been reality, but I'm not sure how it will go now.
