They gave it headlights finally? That's kind of week. So much for pushing the envelope with design, even if it was hideous.

The decision to go with conventional headlights could have been a result of declining sales. Personally, I thought the original model looked so bad that being "quirky" couldn't save it, the facelift looks like it could be acceptable.

From what I can tell, that design is visually cleaner looking than the current Cherokee. If that's true, sales are inevitably going to increase.

The headlights are actually down where the round fog lights are.

Could be, all the ones I see here in the states are down low. Those skinny ones are just running lights.
