I don't care if he's drunk or not; the AUP states you must use correct grammar. I'm going to call him out if he challenges my argument while being too lazy to capitalize.

And no, his doesn't have a point, because Stewart's driving style has nothing to do with his team's ability to build a championship car and beat Johnson, just like F1 teams should have to do without rule changes. I'm not driving this thread off-topic as you love to accuse me of, you are.

So first off, Stewart has the same equipment as his teammates and virtually HMS. I'd say his lack of pace and effort is based on last years injury and probably long term effects that he is unwilling to admit to. He's had some bad luck too but it doesn't change the fact that he lives in the media with double standards on how others drive.

Also yes you did drive that thread off topic, I put it back on perhaps pay attention and learn to read. Also I never said Mule was drunk in that moment, I simply said if you think that post is bad syntax you should see him come on the thread and drunk post. In other words to make it simple as possible for you to understand...he can post far worse than that, and even you screwed up in the post I'm quoting. I think it's best for everyone to not give syntax/diction/grammar tips to people out loud. If it was an AUP violation then report it like a normal person and move on with life.

Even though he technically has the same equipment doesn't mean he should automatically be performing at the same level. I know this is somewhat of an extreme example but say you give a start and park team a HMS chassis/engine combo, They're still left to their own devices/engineers to figure out how to take advantage of the equipment. I'm not comparing SHR to some start and park team, but given how Harvick performed earlier in the year relative to both Tony and Kurt I'd say the last of performance is mostly team specific.

Now forgive me if my post makes no sense or is unwarranted. I wrote it up without really reading anything else in the thread.

I get what you're saying but if it were anyone other than Stewart like say I don't know a certain driver of the number 10 on that team...Patrick. Then I wouldn't have said anything. Also I do give Tony the benefit of the doubt just like I do Hamlin to an extent after injuries sidelined them.

It's not just drivers and equipment that drive a team's success, it's also the pit crew, spotter, and crew chief. In my opinion Johnson's crew I the best in the sport, and combined with equipment from HM, the 48 team wins lots of championships. I think all o those wins are more based on the crew and the equipment more than Johnson's driving skill. I'd say there are several drivers out there more skilled than Johnson who aren't winning as much because of their teams.

I'd say it's pretty equal. Just like any other team. If the team is doing great pit stops and what not it will show, if the driver isn't willing to get up on the wheel and produce what's need it shows. If the team does the opposite it shows. For Johnson both sides do the 100% they need to. If it was just Johnson's crew putting in the effort he wouldn't have nearly as many wins. He is able to adapt to any form of racing and wins at all of them. It's about as silly as people trying to take wins or championships from Vettel and saying "he only won based on his team he doesn't have that much skill".

Thanks, but visual works better at work so I can still listen for any notifications I have coming in.

Ended up going down to Joliet last night for the race, great night. We had pit passes too which was awesome.

UGh I'm just sitting here watching highlights from last year's Mudsummer Classic. I have off Wednesdays I can't freaking wait.

So.. it's stuff like this that has brought the RTA into being a thing... but it shows just exactly where either the teams or NASCAR could cut back on expenses.

In other news, Matt Crafton will be attempting his first Cup race. Hard to believe it took this long for it to happen.

Eh, it's just light-hearted fun. It's based on the old Monster Truck commercials where the announcer would say SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY

KIDS SEATS JUST FIVE BUCKS

FYI:
Jan C. Gabriel (1940 – January 10, 2010) was a Chicago-area motorsport announcer who is best known for popularizing the motorsport phrase "Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!

In 1968, Ben Christ, the track owner of the U.S. 30 drag strip in Hobart, Indiana, wanted to advertise and make it known that his tracks were open on Sundays. He enlisted the help of Steve Cronen at Starbeat Recording Studios in Deerfield, Illinois. Originally, the idea for the tagline was to have two announcers trade intonations of "Sunday!"

That phrase is well over 40 years old, much older than monster trucks. Ironically enough, Mr. Gabriel died on January 10th, 2010...yes, it was a Sunday.

Saw that last night, In one of Youtube's advertisements. In stitches the whole time.

I'll certainly be watching tonight. I missed this race last year, and I'm not making that mistake again. Fox Sports 1 will have my attention until this race goes off once it starts.

I loved the race last year, and provided that any possible storms in the area tonight don't sucker punch the power, I'll be watching tonight. Ever since the race last year I wanted to see a NASCAR series come to my local dirt oval, but likely since there's no NASCAR drivers that are involved with it, it'll never happen.
