That pit stop with 35 to go was the winning move for the 88 & 15. The two cars on the front row at the time (24/41) stayed out, made longer green flag stops, and got buried in traffic.

Yeah, now that pitstop strategy looks good. Without that last caution, it wouldn't have been an advantage.
If the lead cars needed two full cans put in under green, and these guys that pitted only needed half a can, it absolutely would have been an advantage. They didn't give up nearly as much track position stopping under yellow.

When the previous caution came out, the 24 was about 3 seconds behind the 88. It wasn't that much of an advantage.

If they restart and get another caution Harvick is going to be in trouble. He won't make a GWC.

They would have never beat Gordon otherwise had they just followed him around and pitted with him. Passing him and gaining three seconds was a huge gain.

Weird how Newman is doing so well with RCR, but didn't do nearly as well at Penske or SHR.

Junior has 10 Top-5's now... I'm predicting guessing that he wins the championship based on that consistency.

Not to count the fact that as cool as @Jahgee1124 is, he's a Gordon fan and that just says it all :sly:. Also I think he still has a bit of a big head from almost winning the WC predictions.
What's gonna happen is Jr.'s gonna get low top 10's at Charlotte & Kansas before he crashes out of Talladega at the first big one. He'll be the only chase guy in that wreck (Which will be the only wreck until 50 to go [His wreck will be lap 38])

I only liked your post cause you made me laugh so much, now I must walk away for a moment cause it really was that funny. Good job sir 👍 *goes to knock on many pieces of wood*

I still don't have a comment on the new format. I'll wait until after this season (or at least some Chase races) to give my opinions on the new format. I'd rather see it in action so I can have a clue of whether I think it will or won't work as a viable format.

Jr.'s gonna get knocked out of the playoffs in the 2nd round

Which will definitely force NASCAR to change the "playoffs" again so.... Actually, let's hope 4 top drivers *Earnhardt, Johnson, Gordon, and Harvick* get eliminated in round 1 so Braindead France gets tons of hate mail and is forced to eliminate the Chase forever.

That would almost be worth seeing Gordan struggle
