YES!
Way to pay attention...

How does one not who is a claimed NASCAR fan not remember who won the Daytona 500? Is it November PHX race already cause that's the only way I can see how one forgets...

In other words I echo GTPorsche.

I think I'll fan vote Danica just to see 500k down the drain in such a short race.

*NOTE: SHR do not be mad at us just because you gave a metaphorical monkey the keys to the car.

Larson and/or Dillon
EDIT: you know what Parker Kligerman won't be a bad bet. Prepare for him to start writing an article on it on Jalopnik (you heard it here first)
ps. voting link please?

Well, I'm done with this thread for a while.

In all honesty, I saw the Daytona 500. The whole race. I'm pretty sure I know what happened, and I'm even more sure that I know why I post something.

Nationwide Qualifying: JGR Monster Energy #54 team fails inspection six times, Kyle Busch in field but doesn't post a Q1 time and will start 39th-40th.

Won't doubt it. He makes Nationwide look like a video game half the time.

Anyway, it seems the alignment platform wasn't agreeing with the 54.

Should we now start guessing how many people are gonna get lapped? He makes everyone else look like total amateurs.

Maybe not the best way of putting it but...

That's because either 1. They actually are and need experience or 2. They don't have the equipment Kyle has. If they did Kyle would be as mortal as he is in Cup.

Matt Kenseth has an identical JGR car today, is a multiple time winner at California in the Nationwide series, and is a former Sprint Cup champion with seven race wins in Sprint Cup last season. Kyle passed him like he was backing up, after passing 35 other cars first just to get to him.

Like him or not, Kyle is a legitimately fast race car driver.
