That chicane man:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: had Outlaw beat by a tenth and blew it.
Just need to get it right once on the right lap. :)

A whole week after I set the time, it's still the ssme three people in America that's in the 14 club. Chicane's a real tough bouncer.

And you pipped me by .001! Really? Aaagghhh you sonofagun! :sly: Looks like I'll be putting in one last stint tomorrow night once I get home from work. Too tired tonight and have to be up too early to stay up, but no work on Monday so I'll throw in a couple hours to try to finally get a 14. In honor of Le Mans, right? :P

Again, no WiFi but I'll provide the best update I can.

The cutline just jumped big time. It's now tguns at a 15.452 and no, that's not a typo. It jumped almost .2 seconds in just one day. Fizzer holds 10th at a .194 while in 20th with a .391 is dgriffin. If there's some consolation, the dropoff past 28th is rather drastic but anyone with a .3 or .4 should get back at it if not already.

By this time tomorrow, I should be able to update the GDocs sheet.

Don't give up guys. Push as hard as you can for the next 30 hours. This is a real opportunity for one of you. Don't let yourself miss a chance by a tenth or two.

You have sounded worried all week.
Now I'm worried.
Didn't mean to offend
Again,
Tic-Tock about 15hours left

lol Gotcha, well my worries are real it seems. Battle till the checkered!
I just want to stay in the top 28 on the official leaderboard.

well with what time i had available, i gave it my all. Really wanted to make it to finals, but i suppose 40th(as of now) is something to be proud of.

Goodluck to you all, and who ever you are, get ready to live the dream!

Haven't done a lap on this for like the past 6 days and still in second for North America. I just don't have the urge and get comfortable and learn the course again to beat my time. And get first. Well done @iGoFast I will beat you next year. I promise you that :)

Haha removed me from da list all good best of luck! Your time should hold. See you improved.

I had to get rid of every one off my time trail account so I didn't have to see all these lines everywhere had nothing against you :sly:

less than 6 hours left and my name keeps dropping, hopefully it holds as I seem to be a bit off pace today.
It will hold not a lot of movement today!

The struggle is very real. All these kilometers racked up and so far have only managed a 15.668 - three thousandths slower than my current fastest lap. :guilty:

I'll be driving until the cutoff, best of luck to everybody.
:gtpflag:

According to the page that has all the rounds in GT6, contest ends at midnight PST. That would be less than three hours from now.

@epic: I know right? I've been following outlaw's line for awhile now, even with a DS3 I kept up with him on the first corner and on Eau Rogue (after practicing) but when it on the straight or Les Combes, and the chicane, he's long since gone!!! :banghead:. I'm satisfied with my 2:19.99. I pushed my DS3 to extreme levels of instantly breaking it! It still works, but literally...:lol:

I would try in the last few minutes, but I am tired and finished cooking a big meal for Father's Day with my family. So, I'm out.

I have to say that outlaw should compete seriously, after seeing him last year (GTA 2013 Silverstone Final?) and this year, he's just dominated Spa. You're an excellent racer for the US GT Academy and your skills are impressive man....

I say outlaw for GTA USA 2015?? ;)👍

As the competition finishes... whenever here, just want to give everyone the highest of fives for the effort each person has put in this year. 👍 Congrats to all that made it, and even if you came up a little short remember that you left nothing on the table and gave it your all. Keep practicing, evaluate and improve for next year so you can be one of the few heading to the national finals.

Congratulations, everyone! It's been fun so far, now lets get to business. :mischievous:

Welp, that's a wrap for me. Good job to all the guys that qualified. 80th was the best I had in me.

I got a Ps3 and gt6 the day before Academy started and had never raced a sim with a wheel (borrowed a friend's seat and G27). Now to get some seat time for next time!
