It's thanks to my GT Academy experience that I can claim to be faster than Jann Mardenborough - the 2011 national finalists did an autotest in the 370Z, and when I gave it a go, I set a faster time than any of them. Therefore whatever he achieves in his career, I will maintain that based on that single performance, I could do better
Great time! Well Done! 👍1:03.792 lisanorm lisanorm
i am so proud of myself, i just wanted to break the 1:04, inside top 1500 at time of this....with all the tied numbers i am way higher on LB
He is from the outer galaxies for sure1:03.792 lisanorm lisanorm

Fixed.
Yeah that's fair enough . Suppose I will have to master it haha. Although there is definitely at least 2 tenths left in my lap.Anything goes in order to get the perfect lap, just no cutting corners and hitting cones.
Hey guys, my PSN is JTURNER_042, im currently 47th with a 1.03.264. Im a bit annoyed because 1st place is obviously using the handbrake, should this be allowed? it just distracts me when I try to use it lol, but he is obviously finding time.
Yea, the handbrake should not be allowed in a competition like this and I doubt very much it is used in the real world in this type of circuit racing. But since it is not against the rules, there is nothing you can do about the "witchcraft" or "black magic". People are just hurting themselves in using the handbrake instead of learning the correct cornering technique without the use of the handbrake. Whatever it takes to win I suppose, its not against the rules.
I'd prefer not to, but I guess like you said, you gotta do what you gotta do to win.
It helps the car rotate through the corner, but makes it unpredictable, which is why I don't use it lol. It puts me off to be honest.Where do you gain time with the handbrake ?
Druids, perhaps? Maybe Graham Hill?Where do you gain time with the handbrake ?
Yeah if you watch the top guys replay, you can see him using it at druids, the other corners, he is not pressing it long enough for the red light to show up.Druids, perhaps? Maybe Graham Hill?
Much like I thought. Druids is a 180º turn, and Graham could use a light tap. Would work on Paddock too, I think.Yeah if you watch the top guys replay, you can see him using it at druids, the other corners, he is not pressing it long enough for the red light to show up.
