Took me 4 hours to get (barely) gold.
What will be next, a drift challenge ??
Comfort soft on a car like that :banghead:
Keep trying ! I found that I was being overly aggressive with trying to drift I ended up doing worse try coasting and just dab the brake also I was also way to brake happy then I started getting into the 36's after adjusting. Hopefully this helps take a brake and get you mind off this. Maybe you will find yourself more in the Essses and not overdriving the car too much?xed. Works for me hopefully it helps.

Finally some improvement! Thanks to @Tidgney for the guide. It really helped me in that stupid chicane.

1:34.602 Doodle TC-doodlemonoply

10th place overall.

Excellent work Doodle :) and everyone else! Glad the guides of use! Not sure I'll be going on again for this one but will see! Keep up the improvements, it's great to see 👍

Improved by .15. Awful sector 1 on this lap though, have been over a tenth faster through there:

That's what I'd like to know
If G25 is capable of posting a top 10 time?

Sup brotha! Doodle uses a G25/G27 so it's probably possible.

I tried to better my time again for a bit this weekend to no avail. The CSR Elite load cell for my brake pedal should arrive today. Fingers crossed that it fixes the big delay between when my foot presses the brake and when it registers the brake being used. I have to push quite a bit now and I can't go any faster 'cause of it : /

I have a G25 as of now, I'm placed 107 in US, Remember it's also a mental game, something like this could become a mental block thus making you believe it's true.

I've Finally gotten my time down.

From a 1.36.490 to a 1.35.960

Big shouts to Tidgney on the overview! Thanks Chief!!

ignore the music lmao

@GTP_SniperWolph cool footage from Allen berg, how many times have you been
There, I've only been once and it was the fast track program
I could tell from the footage you were down an extra gear for
Every turn! Ur fastest lap was 1:25? My fasest lap was 1:21
I could do gone prob 3-4 sec fastest but I was told I had to
Shift @4500 was like granny shifting and I kept geting held
Up in traffic

I've only been there Once,

Yes same here Allen Berg told everyone to Shift early, in debrief the engineer went over our Motec data and told us that these drivers (Team USA Scholarship contestants) where in 3rd gear from turn 1 all the way through the Bus stop because the car has enough torques. the engine mapping where off for the weight of the car and caused a few driver issues like stepping on the pedal and letting off in 2nd gear would jolt the car too much.

the benchmark was at 1.17.4ish set by young group of Team USA Scholarship contestants in 2012.

I can see on my magic lap getting 35.399 but that's about it. I'll be happy with a .4. Who of the top (50-ish?) US drivers are ineligible? Would be nice to have an * or something by their name.

Probly been asked many times before...

Can the regionals be attended multiple times
Or is it like the Camp being 1 and done?

Sick time mate! May i ask where is your braking point at the the hairpin? Is it level with the 100 meter board or just past it? Them replays are deceiving in the top 10 so its hard to see.

Sure m8, I normally don't use the meter boards for my braking zones, I brake by instinct. Anyhow, to answer your question I watched my replay and figured out I brake just a tiny bit after the 100m board, so I guess it is something near the 90m. Also, try to widen your line as much as possible at the hairpin so that you carry a very good exit speed.

ok, thanks for the tip. I'll try and turn in as late as possible and see if i gain time. Pretty much worked out the rest of the corners so hopefully i'll get in the 600s once i get more consistency with the hairpin 👍

Just when i was starting to get hold off time trial my exams have started
Down to 1:35:5
