Just sliced 3/10ths of my previous time to a 2.14.645. :D

Turn 2 is where you can lose a lot of time if you balls up your braking point and if you fall out of rhythm at the top and at Forrest Elbow the time you lose (in the GTA context) is insane.

To say PD is upping the challenge at each event is a fair statement to make. :)

I can agree with that in a general sense, but event 2 really suited me, one of the top combos I've ever done in any GT 👍

I am hoping to start event 3 later this week.

Down to a 2:14.422 for 124th, 11th in UK 129th, 13th in UK. I can see a 2:13 out there but I keep messing up. :irked:

I'm finding the combo more annoying than I anticipated, mainly because the GT-R has horrendous understeer while braking. Miss an apex or a braking point and you've had it.

I anticipate that by the time round 4 opens up, the cut-off for UK top 14 will be a low 2:13 at the very least, very possibly a high 2:12.

Have you tried Spa already? Wonder how that'll turn out.

Got gold on third lap but I must agree with most, some of these track boundaries are ridiculous. I barely ride up on a curb and get red flagged but I can thump a wall and nothing happens, very frustrating. Not really bothered by any of these car's handling characteristics as its all about adaptation for me, but I just wish PD would pull their head out of their asses when it comes to track boundaries.

The stingy track boundaries remind me of LeMans on GT5 with penalties on as if you so much as looked at any turn funny there was a 5 or 10 second penalty with your name on it.
I agree with most about the understeer under braking and how you really have to stand on the brakes to get the car to slow for the turns. Aside from that, the handling itself is not bad. :)

That was the most infuriating thing about LeMans in GT5, so bad I just stopped driving there completely.

The brakes aren't great, but really, of the 3 heavy braking zones, 2 are coming down from flat out in 5th ~ 6th gear, and the other is down hill. Really not going to get a short stopping distance in any car.

I noticed that too.i thought I was lucky when I tap a wall and didn't get penalized because I can't drive off of any corner even if there is no grass but it seem like the boundaries is that bad. I don't pay attention to stuff like boundaries when I am doing time trial like events.

I feel you for sure. I'm not one to shy away from TT's, but I doubt very much I'll be returning to this one just because of the boundaries. I follow the WRS rules when it comes to boundaries and I think its crap to get a red flag while still having two wheels on the racing surface. A good example of this is the very first turn. You barely clip the curb with the right sides and you get red flagged, I mean, wtf PD. :banghead:

Only a quick go tonight, as no bank holiday this time! Can see a 2:13 although the middle sector is a very interesting one, loads of time if you get it right or lose a load if you get it wrong!

Black Stig, Perry McCarthy (not sure if surname's spelled correctly)
First Permanent White Stig, Ben Collins
Current Stig, not revealed, but for some reason I've always thought he's Bruno Senna

Hope that helps, @CRANK_U1. :)👍
haha i always thought it was Tiff Needell but i found out he only replaced Ben Collins the once. I heard rumours too about Bruno Senna being the stig. Well off the subject of the stig, i'm going to give this tt a bash tomorrow. Not that confident with this one as it seems to disfavour DS3 players according to the leaderboard.

2:13.017 after about an hour. Can see a mid 12 with some more practice. Those stupid boundary limits are irritating.

They have ruined Bathurst with this "white line" rule.

Still good to have Bathurst as a track for GTA, but the white line rule is ridiculous.

Very annoying indeed. I ruined a potential mid 2:12 by 'cutting' a corner going down the hill. :(

They have just taken the whole essence out of bathurst with these track limits. The whole idea and spirit around bathurst is to push the limits of the track and get as close to the walls as you can. These white lines just ruin that. Especially over the top where you are pushing to the limit, aren't near the wall but get an invalid lap!

Down the bottom of the mountain i can understand, but once the walls close in, it is ridiculous to enforce the white line limits up there.

Not going to bother too much with this one because of that, off to Spa ;-)

Which country is the easiest to win a spot it? (Slowest).

The US isn't a terrible place to qualify, but I remember that last year the fastest Dane was 1.5ish seconds off Ti-tech85, but got disqualified on a technicality, from what he told me, so that's a likely choice. Spain is notoriously hard to qualify for, in case you were wondering.
