2014 William FW36 my eyes no longer hurt Thanks Martini

If I'm correct they're doing what they usually have done and not running their full livery in testing.

There may be sponsors to come.

^This. They've already announced that this is the test livery and sponsors will be announced before the start of the season proper.

Just noticed that if you combine Massa and Bottas' driver numbers you get the year Williams Grand Prix Engineering first raced in a Grand Prix. No, not 7719, you pedants.

Not that it means anything. I just like numerical coincidences.

Couple of mock ups of what the Williams could look like come Melbourne:

Also Frank is a reptilian. I saw his eyes go funny once in a poor pixellated digital broadcast.

The thread title could well be the least appropriate reaction possible once this livery is unveiled.

I'm just wondering what they're going to do for Martini when they're in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi.

Replace the word 'Martini' with either 'Williams' or the drivers names, as they used to do with localized cigarette advertising bans back in the day, would be my guess.

Is it even confirmed that Martini will be the title sponsor?

And, if Martini indeed comes back to motor racing, what are the odds we'll find the branding on a trio(duo?) of LMPs from Weissach at Le Mans in June?

Low i'd imagine if they're putting $xx,xxx, xxx into F1 as they're rumored to be doing.

I'd prefer to see them on the Porsches personally.

Brands which are strongly green/yellow and blue/yellow. Hmm, methinks there's no room for a sexeh Martini livery. :indiff:

Yup would be weird if they release merchandise in the white martini colors, and then paint the car in another color 👍
Shame about that bloody nose though!

The website before and after.

Rumours out of Brazil claim that Felipe Nasr will join the team as a reserve driver, and that he brings backing from Petrobras, Banco do Brasil and Sky Brazil.

Petrobras have been on the Williams cars for a number of years since the Pizzonia / Montoya days.
As s technical partner, not a sponsor. It is belived that they have wanted to increase their involvement for a while now on the condition that the team used their products. The problem was that, as a Renault team, Williams had to use Total lubricants.
