2015 ADAC Zurich 24 Hours of Nurburgring

Why isn't there a camera at Adenauer forst? if Youtube has taught me anything it's that there's always drama there.

Finally sat down in the GP stand for the end of the race after a trek and a half back from Brunchen... Time to figure out what's going on!

The green Bentley now into the 70's, the cars in front are separated by whole laps so I doubt there will be much progress from this point. Still wins on looks alone though.

Looks like SP9 GT3 class audi #28 and bmw 25# fight until the end, whos winning?

Depends on the pit strategie. Audi seems to pit ever 75 minutes, so they will do in this lap and with 1:35h left. So they need a splash and dash for the last 2-3 laps. There is no minimum pit length in the last hour, so they need to have around 1-1:20 min lead in front of the BMW in case he doesn't need to do a splash and dash. But with only 8 laps/stint, they might also need to do one for the last 1-2 laps. So my bet is on Audi because both cars have the same pace and Audi has enough lead for another short stop.

Edit:

Has the Audi served its penalty from leaving the pits too early because of the fire?

They got a penalty? Stop should have been long enough with 3:22 min

Manta Banta?
Indeed.

^ stop posting big pictures please.

Could you ask the folks at RML did the lead Audi get a penalty from that fire incident or was I hearing wrong?

I didn't here anything about a penalty. RLM were discussing if they could claim force majeure if they missed by a second or two.

+ Sabine Schmitz in the #30 Porsche (the car that crashed in the lead last night)
+ Claudia Hürtgen in the Schubert BMW Z4 #20 which also had a early crash
+ Jutta Kleinschmidt (the first and only woman to win Rallye Dakar), don't know which car

If think there are another 2 in the TT-RS (the one with the wheelchair on the side door)
