Motortrend was even slower though in an auto.
Just pointing out that SLASH's numbers are ridiculous, that's all.
The trap speed is the same but it makes me wonder what their elevation was because that can change up to a second.

Its unlikely but not ridiculous if anything its only around 5 tenths to fast IMHO depending how good the new car can 60 foot. As I stated before best LS1 Fbody time is 12:80 and '11 GT is 12:60.

Same here. Watch it be some hot cali dragstrip with a bad DA.

Apparently the only modifications to the Ecoboost for Ford Racing's test where this:

2.3L EcoBoost FRPP Modifications: 12.56 secs (109 mph)
- Performance Rear Subframe Kit
- Heavy Duty Half-Shaft Kit
- Draft Shaft Safety Loops
-Prototype Off-Road Exhaust
-Ford Racing Development Engine Calibration

- Hoosier Drag Racing Slicks (Rear)
- Weld-Racing AlumaStar Drag Wheels (Rear)
- Recaro Race Seat

Milan Dragway is 700ft elevation. Those mods put it at 12.56 @ 109mph. I'm wondering if it low 13s are possible. I've heard claims of Taurus SHO's running 12s stock and that's a 4,400lb car so who knows.

I'm not sure how that isn't proof that it has obviously been messaged.

Speaking of:
-Prototype Off-Road Exhaust
-Ford Racing Development Engine Calibration
So the only modifications done are the exact kind of purposely vague modifications that can add quite a bit of power to a turbo engine with a flat torque curve. Thanks Ford! Between you and Dodge's "the engine could make way more power" silliness with the Hellcat, it's the 1960s all over again!
