Mach 1 also dates back to the late 60s. Ford will probably bring it back after the GT500.No it wasn't, and the Mach 1 wasn't anything special...just look at the last one they released
GT500 will be the top dog mustang
GT350 will be phased out for a Mach 1
GT will be the base model V8
If the v8 lineup does disappear, I see the GT500 and GT350 value going up. Hell, the GT500 is doing a lot better than the ZL1. Both retailed around 55k, but the ZL1 can now be had for mid-upper 30s. (2013 and up GT500/ZL1 models).
Edit: I just checked wikipedia (yes, i know its open source), and the Mach 1 will return in 2018. lol, guess its not really special?
