@AJ can TNR FORD PERFORMANCE be removed from the "Teams looking for Drivers" list. We do not need any more applicants at this point in time.

I'd like to take part in the Support Race at Bathurst with the Camaro SS TC 👍

Im in desperate need of information! The 24h race of Daytona that was held by GTPlanet volunteers, the PP level of the GT500 class, is it 550pp like the standard events in-game or higher? and for the event, was tuning prohibited or allowed?

All the information you need to know about the GTPlanet Endurance Series is in this thread: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/gtp-es-promoter-noticeboard.320943/

For example the specs for each car is in the Technical Regulations and all cars will be run with tuning allowed, except for the support race cars.

Im willing to drive in the GT500 class. Looking for a 12h race in June/July/August (summer vacation time) Never been into these events before but I have experience in both car sim racing games and a little in real life racing aswell. I got my simulator setup so materially im fit for fight but the question is if got the required skill and the right mental balance to complete an endurance race. I believe so! Just want to prove it and evolve as a driver. For me it would be so great and challenging to participate in an organized endurance event and if there's an available seat for me please email me (contact information in my profile) I'll answer any question that's necessary.

Hey Everyone! I'm looking for a team to do only support races. And maybe if the time works good maybe a special endurance event but for the main part support races. I race at Turtle Racing League and have been racing for a few years now on gt6. If your wondering how fast I am I know @Masterhec runs for gtmx so he can always tell you how fast I am. (Not alien fast )

Anyways I'll be available to pick up if you have any questions let me know. Looking forward to maybe getting on the track! 👍

Are the teams only made up of drivers, or do they have their own car tuners, and chiefs?

Because I am wondering whether or not I could join a team to help with car setup, and maybe racing if the times work out.

EDIT: Dont worry about it.

Currently, my project consists of two drivers (myself and Matteo) and a tuner/strategist (Carnby). I imagine you can probably help someone out by offering tunes to people... but that doesn't mean they will accept them.

That is ok.

@AJ is the calendar on the Noticeboard correct? It has Silverstone6 and Suzuka6 taking place in the same week?

Sorry if this has already been brought up, too lazy to scroll through 18 pages... 👍

yep one on the Saturday one on the sunday bud :)

also @AJ did you receive my Skype message? Sent 3 weeks ago.

Either the birthday is wrong or I am getting too old too fast. I joined WRS last spring ....I thought. But I inquired about GTP a year prior is that the GTP date??

- There is now a classification requirement for a minimum final lap time.
107% of grid time in dry conditions will keep everyone on their toes, no pressure! :P
Quick question, interested to know how you derived 117% for wet and how the driver rankings are formulated.

What about racing incidents on the final lap that result in the 107% being exceeded?
Would this mean a NC for the team?

E.g. Someone behind me at Daytona bumps me off at T1 on the final lap resulting in me activating LHM.

Not only that but even self-induced incidents and mistakes that may result in losing a massive amout of time.

So basically what I'm getting from this is, I could be leading the race on the final lap for GHH, focusing on not making mistakes, with a relative 30 second lead. However, a fellow GT3 car has hit the glitch barrier on the exit of Forest Elbow, I'm unsighted and have nowhere to go, receive terminal damage. I have to limp home, I can't pit obviously as the pit lane is closed. I cross the line, just beating the 2nd place car by about a second, only to be non classified as I didn't fall within 107%, 12 hours going to waste. Surely some sort of special discretion needs to applied here?

- Force Majeure would probably apply to an instance where your car is crashed into by another.

- It would not if you crashed by yourself.

- Having doubled checked, 107% is perhaps not the best figure. At Bathurst this year the limit was 4mins and Le Mans is 6 minutes. I will look into this. Although some quick math says 207% & 217% are probably where it needs to be.

With there even being confusion with time zones for bookings of qp time shouldn't we be trying to simplify things?

What kind of situation are you trying to avoid with this? It seems rather difficult to know the positions of the cars on track after just a single driver change let alone a few hours so do you really think the leader would just coast through to the end?

I guess you'd want to make sure people get to parc ferme promptly but...

EDIT: Likely answered my own question.
