Hi, I would really like to race in this series at some point. My psn is xChris93_ and I have a lot of experience racing in formula type series (current lotus f1 series constructors champion). I was practicing Daytona earlier with 24hr room settings and managed a lap time of 1.36.9 with the pescarolo C60 hybride which I noticed was quicker than the other non delta winged lmp cars, which made me realise that I would be competitive within this series. I also race gt500 regularly. So any teams with free space, feel free to hit me up with a message and hopefully I can race for you :) Seems like a really fun and competitive series to be a part of.
If you don't mind me asking man, did you have 480bhp and 950kg for the Hybride C60?

When is the 24hr of nurburgring, and can there be a possible entry for just that race?

I would like to join an LMP1 or LMP2 team for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
PSN: EAS_MYTHIC (W1NNER101)
I've been on GT5/6 basically since they've came out, and my specialties lie in LMP/Group C/GT1 at Nurburgring, Le Mans, or Daytona. I've left quite a path, although haven't really gotten deeply involved in the GTP community. My history includes two wins at race with a length of 4 hours, one of them at Daytona (V12 LMR), other at Le Mans (Speed 8, by 0.070 seconds!). I'm somebody that can provide a great deal consistency, but I do drive my car fairly loose and I do make the occasional mistake. Overall, I have over 30 wins and over 70 podiums in league races hosted by other people.
I should also mention that I do sometime race with TNR, and I'm usually about 0.5 seconds off their pace on my own tune. I've been basically a freelance driver since GT6 came out and since I've gone off to college, I haven't been as fast as I used to be. However, I have won races even though having sometimes the slowest car in the class.

If you'd like me to race for you, I'm going to be available every other Friday evening/Saturday morning (EST) until May, when I hopefully am able to be on with more frequency. Either message me via PSN or GTPlanet if you are interested in trying me out.

I'd like to go out with a bang. I miss racing. I really want to do one more significant race before I truly become a MYTH.

If you need references: Anyone on TNR, ADR, freshseth83, jontheshooter, Carnby7, BurnerTheLegend, jonathanmledoux, and polarbear345 will hopefully provide you with some info about me.

I'm posting here to say I am available to be picked up by a current team for any and all of the 6 hour races, if you want me (and there's still room!), and that I'd love to fill in commentary on any and all Endurance Series races, I have experience racing and commentating and would love to keep the ball rolling and avoid the silent bits best I can. Heck I'm willing to step out of the car straight into the booth.

Unofficial free practice lobby up in the club for Bathurst. Please only GT3, GT300, or GT4 teams. Thanks!

Edit: Room closed

Anyone needing a driver, I'm free to take a spot... It's too late to register a team for any other series, right?

I should also mention that my friend djacksonrocks201, who nearly won the iRacing 24 Hours of Daytona, is also interested in hopping on board with me. If you wish to sign me, he'll be racing with your team as well.
Two very high quality drivers for hire for the 24 hours of Le Mans in the LMP1 or LMP2 categories.

Just wandering if any teams are using skype chat to communicate with drivers on a stint? If so, is it easy enough to set up? Can it be set up so it runs through the same headset? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Skype uses calls so as long as you're both online and on the computer they will be A-OK

Is there shorter maximum driving time on the shorter races? I can't find it in the rules. But I thought I read it some where that the maximum driving time changes when the races are shorter. Does anyone know.

4.3a - Must not drive more than 4 hours in any 6 hour period always applies.

4.3b - Maximum time of 50% of race distance plus one 1 hour fluctuates based on race distance (13 hours in a 24, 7 in a 12, 4 in a 6)

4.3c - Minimum time of 10% of race distance plus 1 hour also fluctuates (3.4 hours in a 24, 2.2 hours in a 12, 1.6 in a 6)

4.3d - 65 Minute maximum between pit stops always applies.

I read all of that. What I am asking is. I thought I read somewhere that in a 12 hour race that maximum driving time was 3 hours and in a 6 hour race maximum driving time was 2 hours.

Like when we did the N6 3hr maximum driving time and the N4 was 2hr maximum driving time.

If you are talking about total maximum time it wouldn't be possible as the grid limits state that you can use a minimum of 2 drivers during the B12, J12, L12 which would mean 6 hours at a minimum.

If you are talking about stint length no as well since 4.3a states the 4 out of every 6 hour rule.

So as long as it is 12hrs or more my driver can run a maximum of 4 hours before we make a driver change?

According to the rules I couldn't run 4hrs cause that would be more than 50% of the race.

@AJ, the Daytona24 was livestreamed. Will all or any other races be livestreamed or at least be recorded to view?
