@AJ, the horsepower you list for the Miata Touring car is 198hp. However mine has 205 (possibly off by 1-2 hp, going off memory) and my car is 100% stock, it's just had an oil change. Is your figure of 198 correct? And if so, this means I have to take my stock car and restrict its power to a different definition of "stock"?
Are you sure? There is 198HP? BHP and HP it's a difference.

I only had 30 mins, plagued by wheel issues but still great fun. But felt like crying when I saw that RX7's time

@AJ so is there any specific criteria that would call for a Safety Car in anactual race? What about a Code 60 procedure? I think the Safety Car could massively disadvantage a team depending where it pulls out.

There are, however details will be kept confidential. If everyone behaves, the weather stays dry, and we don't have any lobby issues, its highly likely it will remain in the pits. We practice the procedures so that if it is used, everyone is comfortable with what they need to do. If anyone [EDIT - previously said 'you'] hasn't seen how it works yet, I recommend scanning through the FP4 broadcast as we had 2 or 3.
Forecast is for clear skies next weekend. Raceday is another matter.

The lobby setting of 'Prohibit Tuning' will be selected. This allows you to adjust power restriction and brake balance, but as far as I am aware, nothing else.
I am giving that eventuality as much attention as the potential addition of the 919 or GT3 RSR.
The Support Event cars will only be allowed on track for the first Block (30mins) of QP. You have both cars booked for 17:00 - 17:30.

If the Miata has 214 hp stock and untuned, why detune it to 195? Seems like an unnecessary complication.

Some people will or have already done an oil change. This way everyone has to check their restrictor, and should avoid any issues or delays. The 198 was a mistake based off inaccurate information.

Yeah, we have some ideas. unfortunately a lot of these ideas involve a lot of time so for now we chose to use it as background info on the drivers during the commentary.
