I was under the belief that the GT3 regulations were finalised?

Is there a minimum time the 'car' has to be in pit during driver changes, so that teams aren't disadvantaged too much by relative connection speeds?

No. As a Driver preparing to take over a Car you should;

- have a line of communication with the Driver in the Car.
- be online and ready a few minutes before you are due to get in the car, on the GTPlanet Endurance Series Community Club screen.
- be ready to jump in, as soon as the exiting Driver informs you he has completely left the lobby (not just the track).

I'm interested in doing this. I am a very experienced driver in endurance racing, I'm member of TNR racing, I competed in CORE WEC in the P1 class and TNR's WEC.

Are you interested in the GT500 Class?

PM me for information

I have an LM P2 seat open in the Deltawing if you want to give it a shot.

I heard a rumor that traction control is being allowed for the LM GTE class. Can someone confirm this? And if it's true, I really have to ask, why the heck is this being allowed? RS tires make it bad enough...

Nevermind

Sorry about the double post.:banghead:

TCS is permitted in LM GT. There was a typo in the the prior information.

The aim is to allow a realistic level of Electronic Driver Assistance in each respective class. Last year we found that most teams, and in particular the top teams, elected not to use them. They are therefore there as an option for those who feel more comfortable using them.

Thank you for the link Fallen Log, and to AJ for your reply. However I ask, if the goal is realism then why the use of fake tires (race soft tires). I realize you don't want LM GT cars to hold up faster classes through the turns, but these tires are just plain silly.

Thank you for your feedback. Please contact me on your Team Thread to discuss further.

You should have a private convo titled SSR and DART Prospective Drivers. We can schedule a test there.
