Hi everyone!

I'll be IN the Fuji GP.

The fastest I have done is a 1:15.8. It seems the top 5 will do 14s - low 15s so there's still a lot of work ahead. I'm working on a new setup more suitable to my driving style.

The last sector of Fuji reminds me of Spa. You have to be very gentle with your throttle if you want to be quick.

See you this afternoon!

PD: Now I'm online in a open room practising the race. Join in it if you want.

Provisional results for Race 3 Fuji:

(Note that Iceman, Agro, and Arty served 1 grid spot penalties after Q).

(Cb received a 100 second penalty for not changing tire compound)

There were some good battles and overtakes in that race, unlucky CB on your first race back!

About Monaco, I am happy to have damage on heavy, what are the thoughts on implementing a blue flag system for this race where the car being passed presses the start button and goes invisible so the lead car can pass unhindered? Does it work? Can we test it?

Arty: To be honest I already think that doing Qualification with invisible cars is taking away some of the frustrating, but funny aspects off racing. And by making your car to a ghost in race when someone is lapping you is another aspect of racing that I think should be kept..

True, yes I miss the real qualifying as well... so far the full fuel pace I've seen is 13.3 by Agro and he has plenty of time left in his locker, I would be astonished if we get into the 11s!

After some practice in Monaco the best I could do was a 1:15,9
Also for some reason I an faster with 1800 downforce because with higher my front tyres in every corner are smoking and I loose so much time with the understeer. The same problem I had last race.

OMG 12s and 11s? Today I've done a 1:13.9 (my first 13 ever) in a clean lap. I think mid 13s is the fastest I can do.

I agree with d1. GT6 physics are a little bit weird in this aspect. Low rear height and mid LSD reduce understeer as well. My tyrewear is brutal in this track so I have had to sacrifice my 5th gear in order to throttle with lower RPMs and gain an extra lap of tyre life.

Do dampers have some kind of effect in the handling of the car? I have tried several setups but they are pretty similar and I don't know if the differences are real or just a placebo effect.

I am OUT for the race at Monaco.
My times were 1.15,x
One tip: If you missed the braking point at the quali lap quickly press start (ghosting) and you will get no damage  (emphasis on if..)
One question which might be also interesting for the qualifing/race: How much cutting is allowed at the chicane? No white line here...

I wish everyone a good and crash-free race (especially first corners)
See you at the Nürburgring

15s aren't slow. I expect that to be mid-pack range. So stay in if you want some points.

About the ghosting thing, I'm not sure. Never have had time to press start if I'm in a bad way.

There is no white line, but if people find an advantage by cutting the curbing then it will be looked at. Not as much as other tracks since it is hard to gain an advantage there, but it will be discouraged.

Points are out. Tomorrow I'll be working on making tables for the race results that we have completed so far. Here are the points:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-3n1BqFIcAUluZwxxv3oRWHTjoecFbQMQKtih19qbHM/edit?usp=sharing

Race 3 Results (rough form):

1. IP - Win 59:28.525
2. Agro - +39.151
3. Evo - +40.576
4. Aug - + 46.808
5. Arty - +1:40.947 +1L
6. Cb - +1:50.957 +1L
7. Sierra - +2:04.699 +1L
8. ISDL - +2:29.433 +1L
9. UA - +2:38.511 +2L
10. Przem - +2:58.394 +2L
11. RaceH. - +4L
12. Peir - +4L
13. D15 - +4L

Penalties:

1. Peiratis: Warning for not blue flagging yourself.
2. Sierra: 1 grid spot penalty for avoidable contact with ISDL at T13 L28

On another note; I saw a lot of people who cut the pit blend lines while entering and exiting. This must stop. Too many broke the rule to penalize anyone, otherwise I would be penalizing 3/4 of the field. In the future this will be enforced.

I know that, giving up is inacceptable, but I going to visit family members in another city and driving kart :) over the weekend. Discovered that some hours ago...

Gave me around 0,5 sec on my best drive through the section. Not unrelevant for the top spots

You could do a hard no quibble rule: no touching chicane curb at all, unless avoiding another driver overtaking you (in which case you lose that position) ...

It will be an interesting Q, with times from 10s to 20s. The huge performance difference between the slowest and the fastest drivers can end up in a chaotic race with lapped cars, especially with heavy damage.

I saw IP 09 yesterday full fuel
No problem super soft

Wait wait wait... 09s? Really? I would like to see that lap. I don't know how to get closer to front pack. In my case a totally clean full fuel lap might be around mid 13s. 4 seconds of gap are extremelly huge in a short track like Monaco.

Hey Agro, would it be possible to make the race finish timer a bit... longer?:-) It would be nice for the slower drivers (me) to cross the finish line once in a while.

Well then... It looks like I need to seriously improve my lap times.

I've seen you run good times in the past so it puzzles me why you've been off the pace... are all your steering wheel settings right (like on simulation mode, fffb, sensitivity), or ds3, and do you use the latest setups?

Monaco is the kind of place to let Arty hit the walls and drive around him, good luck!
