P1 2:05.2 with TC5...
Yea, I just noticed that and was coming here to post about it. Him and also P7 have their TC at 5. Nothing wrong with that, but in all my experiences, TC almost always made your lap times slower, especially at 5. I just find it odd that a P1 time is being able to be achieved with TC at 5. Getting ready for my first go myself, think I'll start with it off and experiment with TC later. Good luck everyone.

Nothing wrong with that, but in all my experiences, TC almost always made your lap times slower, especially at 5. I just find it odd that a P1 time is being able to be achieved with TC at 5. Getting ready for my first go myself, think I'll start with it off and experiment with TC later. Good luck everyone.
TC is doing nothing with the GTR. Because its 4wd and has LSD set up so low you cant get your tyres to spin even if you try. So TC does nothing the whole lap. I lapped the same with TC 0,1,5 doesnt make a diffrence.
Down to 2:06:200 for second fastest German at the Moment at least half a second to find still.

I'm guessing the car has understeer built onto the setup. I'll give it a go tonight and see if I can muscle around it.

I was very excited for GTA because I believe I had a shot at it (last year I was #33 in my region) but sadly this year UAE isn't included despite the camp being at Yas Marina... odd. Anyway, I'll still try to see how fast I can go 
Earlier I managed 2:7.300 (yes, exactly 300 
) which isn't that quick but I'm happy with it for today. There's still a lot of room for improvement and it just started! My guess is #1 will be between 2:4.3 and 2:4.6 by the end of this.

I started with TC5 , because i forgot to take it off, and i tought i was driving without it, i managed a 2:07.6 with it.
Then i took it off and i was having more problems with understeer, and trying to keep up with my time. But eventually i did a 2:07.489 without TC.

Brave words when you've still got 1.5s to find
1.5. Easy. I only fired the PS3 up before work because I wanted to see if there was an update for it, had 10 mins to spare so I thought I would run a few laps.
I think I finished two.
Anyway, I was number 178 in the world this morning with a silver time, improved it to Gold and dropped to number 300, I think when I first loaded the academy there was no number 1 time at all

The highest DS3 user is 'samurai_405' and he's sat in 23rd with a 2:05.811 (as of this moment).
Thanks. That time is way out of my league, the nearest I'll get to being a racing driver is excuses so I'll blame the conditions. I'm only a few miles from Silverstone and although it's sunny the wind has picked up.
