new WRX's at Subaru Interactive @ Docklands today. The official launch party in this Thursday. 1 silver and 2 white ones. The wheels are dark grey almost black chrome in sunlight. I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Forgot my iphone. Some reps and salespeople did a few skid pan runs at Docklands today. The dashboards of the WRX look just like a Forester. There was one auto (white) w/sunroof (top model) and same model in manual(both with leather). A silver WRX manual base model, cloth interior, basic radio.
That section from the B-pillar back, is all BMW M3.

I have one of the local dealers trying to get me setup for a test drive in the near future. Not sure how long it will be before these come in but the dealer said they have several coming in soon. Hopefully I can check out the automatic with the paddle shifters and the 6 speed manual. I am just currently looking at all options for another AWD car. If I traded in or sold my 04 WRX I could get one of these. But, I am not even considering this 2015 WRX until I get some time behind the wheel.

I feel the way, when I call the dealer for an estimate on when I can see one they always say "soon but we can accept an order at this time." Of course I tell them Im not getting out of my Sti until I get to drive a new one.

That front face looks horrid, I wouldn't bother with this gen until a facelift is done and even then it's going to be iffy. The rest of the car looks good reminds me of the last gen but that face is just trying to hard.

Little too much Evo X and Mazda. I guess I can see some BRZ ques but still... I'm going to buy a WRX because it's not the EVO, not because I hope they can mesh the looks of the too. Very disappointing.

Don't like the back end. Reminds me of a prius

Actually now that you mention it it reminds me more of a newer Corolla, my Nissan has a nicer rear than this...

Looks like they are getting the hint.
I wonder if sales will be low compared to their projections. Could be a seriously HUGE mistake for them to ignore the hatch market, after all, I drive a STI hatch and have been damning FHI for no hatch since day one with this gen.

My guess...
When the STI switches to a DI motor they will release a hatch. Rebirth of the hatch mid-cycle with a new engine in the STI, that would be a great recipe for sales. 👍

Based on the Impreza hatch, I would be comfortable saying that a hatch WRX would most likely be the next car I get.

At the WRX skid pan demonstration, workshop technicians were given a drive of the auto and manual. All the techs I spoke to said, they would spend their money on either WRX.

I hate the looks of the current non-WRX Impreza. I didn't much fancy the last WRX STI, either, though it did manage to redeem that rather anonymous generation of car.

This... this is great. However people harp about it looking Evo-ish, it looks like a modern Subaru, and it fixes many of the issues with the current Impreza looks, particularly around the grille area.

I like the look of it. My coworkers hate the front. Only thing I dislike, is the size. It's become the size of the old Legacy/Liberty. But, techs I spoke to during the launch, said the paddle shifts are quick and it goes really good.

This newer WRX looks a bit on the plain side, but I do like it. The 2003-ish WRX/Impreza is my all-time favorite one looks-wise. Looks a hell of a lot better than the aircraft-inspired grill designs on the mid-2000s WRX/Impreza that I keep on seeing. I've always prefered non-wagon, non-hatchback versions of this car.

I think the front end is the best since the 22B. The rear...not so much. Seems a bit...generic. I wish the front light's LEDs were also on the rear.

I adore the looks of this Impreza, especially the STi one. So cool looking. :D Although it kinda reminds me how a Subaru Legacy will look. :P Hurry up Mitsubishi your rival awaits for your new Lancer.

I was at the dealership for about 3 hours on Saturday. Was getting a few things checked out on my 04 WRX. (ended up being nothing. $0.00) While they were looking it over I decided to see about getting into a 2015 WRX "Premium" edition. Long story short they were trying to talk me into leasing the car. I really haven't heard much positive about leasing. They said they could get me into a 2015 WRX premium with 0 miles for about $350-$400 a month with 0 down if I lease. If I traded in my 04 WRX it would drop the monthly payment. If I sold my car locally it would lower the monthly payments even more. I could easily afford $350-$400 a month.

So I am a bit torn. I have never owned a brand new vehicle. I have owned very new cars but not brand new. I think owning a brand new car would drive me insane. Any little scratch, dent, chip, mark really would bother me. I get bothered when the 04 wrx gets any little chip or tiny dent.

Any opinions around here on owners with BRAND new cars? Any opinions on leasing?

My parents have always leased their cars. It's basically like a rental but for a longer period of time. You have to stay within a specific mileage or else you have to pay for the extra miles. You also have to keep the car damage free. But I'm just a kid so I don't know of its worth it.

Also, I've been drawing the STi and I noticed how tiny the wheels are compared to the rest of the car...

My Aunt and Uncle used to lease all their cars and they've told me they really regret it. They used to be the type of people that always wanted to upgrade to the newest model of car so they'd trade in every couple years. If you plan on doing that (which it doesn't sound like you do) then leasing may be okay, otherwise I think it is a bad option. Basically it is like renting a house or apartment, you're just throwing money away on something you don't own and you'll never get anything back from it.

As far as brand new cars. I'd wait a couple years before purchasing one. Not only will the car have depreciated quite a bit, if the new models have any issues they'd be pretty widely known so you can know what to look for and what to avoid. I have to admit though, a new WRX is very tempting.

The first Black w/ black/red leather manual. The wheels are machine finish and look small. All the aero bits dont make the car look majorly aggressive but, do make the car look better. Black STI calipers. I have to look at what tyres are fitted. Ill post pics tomorrow.

Yeah the rear looks meh but the front looks awesome and i love how now people want the hatchback one lol i remember feeling like the only one who love the first hatchback impreza back then when everyone hated it.
The car shoulda have bigger wheels. It doesn't look aggresive as the last one since it seems to ditch the widebody.

Agreed on the LED lights. You would think that since it's 2014, they put on the LED lights on the rear.
