I'd actually prefer a technical course like Spa or the Nordschleife, requires you to be more concentrated and gets the adrenaline pumping more, keeping you awake.

Same here, too. Pretty much for the same reason.

Well, there goes the #4 Vette. Hopefully the #3 can hold on.

I mean like while a car is stalled a code 60 system should be used and once the car gets running again they can go back to normal speed, that would prevent the 10-15 minute safety car periods. Much larger accidents would still use a safety car.

Edit: One of the yellow Corvettes has a lot of front damage to the right side.

(paraphrasing the Allstate commercial) THATS A BIG HOLE!!

EDIT: Stupid slow moving prototypes

Quick update:

Top 4 Prototype cars are within 5 seconds.
PC has no battles.
GTLM has Corvette vs. BMW Z4 for the lead. BMW back 1.7 seconds
GTD has Viper vs. Porsche 911 for the lead. Porsche back 3.6 seconds.

I just checked my TOPP and it was 10 minutes ago. They aren't showing Jack 🤬. This is such a waste of coverage for such a great race.

I think this race will be between the #01 and the #10. A long way to go but those two cars seem to have an edge over the others at the moment.

p.s rooting for the #10 as I did last year.
I don't know, the 02 has been awful racey throughout and the 01 has been fighting handling issues. Hard to say, any of the top four certainly have a shot at this point.

Dorsey Schroeder just did an interview with FOX while driving a DP at full speed. That was pretty cool.
Yeah it was. I think I heard him say the car is only on 7 cylinders now. Hopefully they can get to the finish, they've done pretty well. Glad to see Dorsey back in a race car. :)

Funny how the stream worked last night while they were simultaneously showing it on Fox Sports 1, and now it's on FS1 this morning and the stream doesn't work. :indiff:

Just checked, it's all security passworded where I am (moved up into the grandstands right now. There may be some where I was before in the infield from someone's RV.
Really, the series doesn't provide wifi? That's seems a bit strange in this day and age

Remember- that is the car that crashed and flipped during the Roar before the 24. The fact that it is even running at all is a testament to the crew.
This team deserves some sort of award. Hopefully when DP's are finally done Boris continues with a GT3 car in GTD at the very least.

Ended up taking a longer power nap than intended. I'm glad to see Corvette Racing has their #3 C7.R still leading GTLM, with the other one a few laps down after some damage.

[EDIT] I also see that during the hours I dozed, numerous cars went out. Was there an accident or were they due to mechanical failures?
