Well I know I'm capable of a 3:24, it just whether I have enough time to actually hook one up, maybe if it was a year long TT? :sly:

Joking apart though, really wish there was more time, seems the longer the TT the better I do.

Hopefully we get some UK representation in the 3:24's, would have tried myself but seems it is a bit of a chore and maybe wheel damaging. I would have made the effort though if I was trying to qualify.

Seems like EDDSKILL improved just now by a really small amount.

Yep, hopefully he keeps just improving by small amounts so that I can overtake him :P
 
So the time trail says its live for one more day and ends on the 15th? I thought It was going to end at 11:59 tonight right before midnight hits

Well there it is all done.. Managed enough for a 3:25.600 in the end. Was enough for 9th in the UK, couldn't manage to string a low 25 together in the end not for a lack of trying.
Glad this combo is over as I really wasn't a fan. Well done to all the guys who made it.
 
Its overrrr! 5 times tonight I went into the last sector on a 24.xxx lap. 5 times I hit a cone (twice being the last corner!!!). Just could not for the life of me do a lap without making a pigs ear of a few corners. managed a low 25 but didn't make top 4 sadly. Great job for you guys that made it, you all deserve it massively after this crazy combo of car and track.
 
Congratulations to EDDSKILL, unbeaten in the UK since the first GT Academy in 2008. Huge respect to him considering how little opportunity he gets to play these Gran Turismo games. Well done.

I did a 26.204 and comparing it to my 2nd quickest time I lost 6 tenths at the porches curves and 4 tenths through Indianapolis/arnage. As you can imagine it was very frustrating. Are you/ would you be eligible? How many in the top 14 do you think will be? And also accepting the invite.

I know exactly the feeling, had a few laps where I was 2 tenths up going into Indianapolis and ended the lap 5 tenths down :( Just get flustered when I see blue flash up on the screen haha!
I am eligible yes but whether I am in the top 4 eligible I seriously doubt it unless I get very lucky. With regards to the second question again i'm not sure as I haven't kept track of who's been before and who hasn't
 
Hi all. Is there anyway of finding out where you finished overall globally now that it's over,? Where would a 1.29 roughly end up? My 8 yr old brother did that and claims he finished in the top 500...which I'm sceptical of seeing as the top times seemed to be in the 24s....Is he mistaken and probably was in the top 5000? I never had a chance to run this one sadly.

EDIT: First person in 3.29s is 1241st, last person is 1969th :)

Can you please tell to all of us the car/track combos you faced at the live event?
 
Went down to Goodwood for the first time today, and couldn't resist having a few goes on the pods even if only for a bit of fun. The combo was the GT-R LM NISMO up the hillclimb, and the fastest times were dipping under 41 seconds. I managed a 42.8 after about nine runs total, just outside the top 10; not too bad considering I hadn't touched GT6 since "Black Tuesday".

Also met @Famine and @Tidgney while I was there, and congrats to @Growling for winning the spot at race camp. Best of luck in Abu Dhabi! đź‘Ť
