Pretty cool! Guess he's eligible and will probably win then! High achiever by the looks of it
He did take part in 2011 (Seems like he lost to Jann), don't know about earlier ones and how good he will be in real life driving but wouldn't be surprised if he has prepared for it as golden opportunity given eligibility rules and going straight to race camp IIRC.

Will be interesting to see if he will be able challenge for top spot on leaderboard.

Edd is a very fast driver he'll definitely be taking 1 of the 4 seats for the UK! Can't see him getting rank 1 world wide though, I definitely think that's Wolfs, he's seriously showing some insane speed and consistency to!

I know it was mentioned in this thread or another, but same result. This car is headed for a very bad finish. If we are to assume that this is a close proximity to the real car, they are way f'd. Audi, Porsche And Toyota will devoure them.

I suppose we will get an idea of pace tomorrow with qualifying. The funny thing for me is master flash Wolf doing an impressive 3'24.xxx. I think this years Q time will be much lower, somewhere in below 3'20.xxx I have to surmise, due to Porsche.

Over 24 hours is always a crap shoot, but if you have time in hand you have an advantage.

Wolf is usually seriously fast and consistent but doesn't mean he can't be toppled like the other three rounds have shown. Do think Edd at his peak form has the ability to beat the current top drivers on leaderboard, probably a bit rusty though and maybe not the best car track combo to get back into it.
What does he do pro athlete?

Ben I am still running in 720p on a HP monitor lol
Check the link ;). Anyway don't know if he is active as last event on that website is 2013.

I would have been on for the last few days hoping to get down in to the 25's but had a minor catastrophe on Monday afternoon and came off a mountain bike landing on my wrist. At first the hospital took an X-ray and said it was indeed broken, was absolutely gutted as felt I could have improved a fair bit more.
Only to get a call today saying how they've fully analysed the X-rays and there is not break... I'm keeping my fingers fully crossed and if am due to get the plaster off tomorrow and following a few days rest to get some strength back, may get back on over the weekend or failing that at the Festival of Speed.

Well that's great news... Not! Lol. Random question chaps, do you think a bigger TV helps with events like this??
Na, I did my time on a 14 inch TV that can run of a 9V power supply, its so bad you can't see the ball when playing fifa, and on GT you can't actually make out tyre wear, or fuel levels. Tv quality doesn't help imo, but you are gonna enjoy playing for longer periods if you can see stuff in more detail. I didn't even know this car had a gauge for the energy recovery levels until I saw a video on youtube lol.

Gradually getting there, down to a 3:25.398, but my theoretical is still over 0.5 seconds faster, realistically looking and a low 25 at best by tomorrow.
