I decided to join Bertboy75 over in the TC party. Managed a half second improvement to 27.5, but that might have just been due to the monster stint I did because I've been on for that with no TC..

If anyone gets the hump about the multi accounts, it's because I can't use the TRL account with any aids. I wouldn't usually do it, but this is GT Academy, so anything goes I'm afraid

Where are you gaining time using traction control mate?

Normally it restricts car control a little bit.

@xChris93_ really not entirely sure mate.. It let's you floor it and just turn through the slow stuff and wait for the TC to let it loose.. It's a bit of a trade off between wheel spin and bogging down

This is why I'm going to get the RA functions back on, because I'd only need TC for Mulsanne and Arnage. Spending so much time off of full throttle and it is losing me time. 👍

Just tested TC there and I hate anything that restricts me

I definitely won't be using it anyway, doesn't really suit my driving style either tbh I like to have some tyre squeal and wheel spin on exit

I went up to ABS on 2 and noticed a bit of a difference in the car under braking, was on for a mid-high 26 until the last chicane where I became all flustered and missed pretty much every apex .
The TC on 1 sounds interesting, might give it a go.

I don't think I'll improve for a while, need some analysing to do.

And by analysing I mean having a tantrum and screaming at the cones.

Into the 26's, theoretical is down to low 26s, gradually getting there, don't think I'll ever drive this car again after this round

Does anyone know much info about the live events yet? I'm thinking of heading to the pageant of power next Sunday so just wanted to know if the GTA stand is there, is it likely to be all 3 days or just 1 day only. I'm not sure what's happened in previous years?

I don't think all 4 will be eligible though I think we will be surprised to who will accept/be eligible at the top

Well I don't stand a chance anyway. I have actually got worse. The more iv watched peoples replays and listened to advice, it has just confused me, it's like my mind is fighting my body over what has become natural for me to do. I literally can't do a lap without wrecking it or invalidating it at some point. My best splits put me on a 2.25.9. It's never going to happen. My brain and body are fighting each other. I think I'm done, one thing I will say is I hope when GT7 comes to ps4 the physics are completely different because they suck! Back to project cars for me.

Don't you give up mate, you have actually nailed some decent times, you can do it. I'm just mentally gone now, I don't find it realistic in any way shape or form and it infuriates me! I've lost my patience now, as you can tell lol.

To be honest mate, I need a whole second.. I've done 1000's of miles on this combo and never been near a 25.

I'll keep trying, but I'm off to Le Mans to watch this fat understeering pig for real on Thursday afternoon, so I've only got a few days to find the best part of a second.. Not going to happen I'm afraid! Like you, I'm pretty much mentally gone now.
