FIFA will vote for a possible 48!! countries 2026 World Cup in January.
Just imagine the amount of **** the groupstages will produce.

All for the love of football money.
I think I read half the teams would go into a 1 round pre-lim knockout so 12 teams would be going home after 1 game.

Watching the Leicester game. Last time I saw them they got crushed by ManU...

Time to turn the season around but Mahrez is on the bench? <- Because of Champions League Tuesday.

Captain Morgan was a statue on that one...
:banghead:

I need to stop watching these games. Leicester look destined for relegation this year.

Chelsea 3-0 Leicester, first half performance seals the comfortable win, no shots on target for Leicester.

In today's news, Kyle Walker is quick.

That's about the only positive from this game.

Not that a bad start by Bradley at Swansea, yeah we lost 3-2 but at least it wasn't 6-0!, at least we scored a couple of goals and fought...

Watford beat Middlesbrough 1-0 and Southampton had a comfortable 3-1 win over Burnley...

OP updated for the Nigel Pearson dismissial.

In lighter news, it may be of interest and delight to football fans to know that Wimbledon are higher in the table than Milton Keynes. It's only taken 14 years to get there.

Cant wait for tonight, not because its a big game, but because its been hyped to death!

AC Milan moved into a tie for 2nd in Serie A after a 3-1 win against Chievo yesterday. The average age of their Starting XI was 23.9 years old.

Liverpool 0-0 Man United, very dull game with very little to talk about, United started better as Liverpool took a while to settle, but then Liverpool had a much better second half in which Coutinho struck a 30-yarder to force a good save from De Gea, Herrera was immense in midfield for United and deserved his MOTM award.

This might sound stupid but i sort of blame Sky Sports for it being such a crap game, they have been talking about this match for almost three weeks and the amount of hype and build up it was given was ridiculous, I'm very aware that it was a big game but it was far too much, i just knew it was going to be a boring 0-0 after all the talk and its not the first time Sky have done it either.

This weekends games.

Saturday
Arsenal v Middlesbrough
Bournemouth v Tottenham (12.30 Sky)
Burnley v Everton
Hull v Stoke
Leicester v Crystal Palace
Liverpool v West Brom (5.30 BT)
Swansea v Watford
West Ham v Sunderland

Sunday
Chelsea v Man United (4pm Sky)
Man City v Southampton (1.30 Sky)

No Monday night game, Sunday looks really good!

More like it looks like another episode of Jose parking the bus.

As an Arsenal fan, 'Boro have always worried me. I remember them being a bogey team for us the last time they were in the Premier League.

Dont get the hate on Jose and United for Monday night, he set up not to lose in a tough away game and we didn't lose, the only chance Liverpool really had was the Coutinho strike which produced a great save from De Gea, if Zlatan put that header away then it would have been the perfect away performance

Please remind me to respond to this later. I'm on mobile right now but when I get back to a real keyboard I'd love to try and explain.

Lol, yet you blamed Sky Sports for it to be a dull game. :sly:

If van Gaal had done that it would have been boring, negative tactics and 'not the United way'...

City could only manage a draw against Southampton, five games without a win for them, Chelsea v Man United on next.

Celtic destroy Rangers. Ended 1-0 but Rangers didn't make any sort of impact and decided to try and hold out for penalties for 90 mins. Embarssing to watch.
