this "While the previous Titan offered a bedside storage compartment in the lower outside fender panels, the new TITAN XD features an available dual lockable in-bed storage boxes that sit sight-unseen at street level and can hold a wide range of essential work and recreational equipment. Unlike other pickup bed storage boxes, the TITAN XD units are accessible from inside the bed without having to remove a camper top or tonneau cover. The boxes are watertight (and drainable) and can be used as a cooler for picnics or tailgating. They are also removable for times when extra bed capacity is required."

Not exactly an attractive grille. But not a completely unattractive truck on the whole. Still going to be regulated to sixth place in sales.

But, hey, maybe the diesel will crank up that market share.

I hear the gas model might get a "sportier" appearance with a better front end. Guess we'll see.
I hope so. The front looks too much like a GMC/Chevy (grille that is) and the rest follows the F150 platinum.

It looks like they tried to copy/match a lot of stuff from Ford. Those wheels look exactly like the ones on an Edge. The side mirrors look like those of a super duty without the bottom wide mirror. Looks pretty tall though with quite a generous amount a space from tread to well (comparing to my dads Ram).

It does look like ALOT of copyed shapes from other trucks but i like it yet.
Compared to other fullsize trucks on the market the gas varient as 4x4 would be my choice as a 1500.

Edit.

They copied that spot near the mirror where the window dips down like the F150 ,but i do remember the R34 does the same thing aswell lol.

It looks like a Chinese knock off of the F-150, and those cheap looking fake side vents? Good lord. I'm not sure what I was expecting with this, but it wasn't this monstrosity.

Couldn't care less about the truck, I am very interested to see how the V8 Cummins fares though. 555 ft/lb of torque at 1600 RPM sounds very nice indeed.

Something went awry in Nissan's 3D printer, because the yellow one is just a gawky launch FX4.

And the Aisin should be a good match along with beefed up chassis and axles. One thing that I would have liked included is a 8'bed XD King cab,but I can see why they went with the crew/6.5' to suit the weekend travelers.

I wasn't sure about the truck months ago when I saw it for the first time, but it's growing on me. Those complaining about the huge front end: It's that way to fit all the accessories required for running the diesel engine. I hear the smaller wheelbase, V8/V6 truck will have a slightly different front end and will be "sportier".

Should've gone with an I-6 from Cummins.... I've never like a diesel that was a V-pattern...

The Inline 6 they used in dodge did it better though...

I too am interested though how the V8 is.

Oh, I agree. Personally, I think the inline 6, 12 Valve Cummins is the best engine of all time. I have over 400K on mine and all I've done are oil & filter changes, a water pump, starter, alternator and voltage regulator. All while getting up to 25mpg in a dually.

I would've loved to see an inline 4 put into these smaller trucks. An inline engine makes more sense for a diesel truck and I feel they are much easier to service as well because they generally aren't packed in as tight.

Yeah I agree, but I think they did it to compete with the well known Duramax and Powerstroke. I rather have a inline, since they usually are better at producing torque
