I've liked the Prius' styling less with each iteration, and I don't know of many other vehicles I can say that about. Honestly, I find the first generation fairly handsome.

I will say that the shifter of the 1st gen Prius is pretty strange, but that's it.

This thing can't be saved by anything IMHO. It's just HORRIBLE.

I have to say. I like it. It's weird, and a bit too fussy at the front, but the new Prius is undeniably an attractive and interesting car visually, once you get used to how different it looks to anything else.

I'm sure they'll still be the taxi driver's car of choice.

Just looking at it makes me confused. Is that line going down? Does the roof appear out of nowhere? Where did that crease come from? Is it huge? The slope makes it seem small.

It looks like a straight up concept car. Which by itself is pretty cool, except in this case the concept was never good looking in the first place.

At the very least this will hopefully divert some of the sales to the much better mid-size hybrid offerings like the Sonata and Accord hybrids.
