2017 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand PrixFormula 1

Wolk up early to watch the race, loaded up Facebook to see pictures of shattered remains of Ferraris and a Red Bull. I think I'll go back to sleep.

"How to hand the championship to Mercedes 2017."

Verstappen only stayed straight they said!

Vettel is in the lead, he has a right to close a gap, Raikkonen is the only one going straight and at this point he is ahead of Verstappen. Everyone is responsible for their own car and if you have to let off and let someone passed to avoid a crash then that is what you do. Verstappen didn't. You could just say it was down to unfortunate sequence of events. But if anyone is to blame, it's your boy Verstappen. Who has form.
Right.... so Vettel can go all the way from one side of the track to the other, Max can move away from him in response to that and somehow that's Max's fault?

I don't know what planet you're on, but that was Vettels fault if anything. I'd still put it down to a racing incident because Vettel couldn't of know Raikkonen was there, but it could of been avoided if he hadn't defended so aggressively.

Guys he clear wants to believe it was his fault. If he wants to go to all the effort to try and prove it was Max's fault maybe just let him

People are seriously delusional when they want to be.

Your picture clearly show it's Vettel moving over on Verstappen and Raikonnen didn't have the awareness to drop out of it and leave them room for Turn 1.

Vettel was in the lead, why would he go right?

To ensure the safety of the drivers around him; so they're not squeezed into the wall, which is an illegal move, or each other.

Verstappen was being overtaken by Raikonen, he could and should have let off. The result of him doing that is losing second position and continuing to fight, the result of what he did instead is the front 3 which includes himself are out.

Sometimes you have to accept being overtaken in order to avoid a crash.

You know who else kept moving left in your images? More so than anyone else? Vettel. The room he had to avoid squeezing the other two cars is there to see.

Neither did Vettel.

I assume swapping the liveries of the cars involved would change your opinion on this incident.

Hamilton has a nice cushion over Ric and Bottas.

Nice being the best wet weather driver left on the grid after the others have crashed out...

Who has the biggest cajones to jump onto slicks. Parts of the track very dry but others still quite wet. I would have thought RBR have the least to lose in trying it.

Where was Verstappen supposed to go?

Vettel is on the right, Kimi is on the left, wheels locked with Kimi so he cant drop back.

Pretty much. He was reacting to Vettel and moving left before Raikkonen came up beside him.

Again... least blame possible.
