The SC365 article @IforceV8 mentioned also said that someone was potentially looking at dumping the Cosworth electronics after the Rolex 24 if IMSA would allow it. I wonder which team is doing that. I'm initially assuming it's the GM effort and not the Nissan one, but either way, the fact that someone wants to consider ditching the Global spec electronics package says volumes about the package in its current state.

Interesting development, seems like engine reliability is suddenly not the only issue for the P2 cars.

Drinking game! (in development)

Drink every time:

A PC crashes/causes an SC
A Ferrari crashes/retires
A Safety Car is deployed
Someone complains about the Nissan DPi
Someone complains about the Starworks liveries (understandable)

Aaaand I'm out of ideas.

Drink when you see FAST.

Why hello there, Dr Zaius.

Something tells me the Ferrari trope is significantly reduced because of the only three racing this weekend. I definitely predict that one car team will do more crashing in PC then the other two car teams.

One addition is everytime someone complains about BOP, just so we can ring them of funds like a sponge should everyone get liver poison.

One of my favorite drinking games for and sports car or open wheel series - take a drink when anyone says "front nose."

Corvette Racing to use spare chassis for the 4 at the Rolex 24.

The decision to use the backup chassis as the 4 for the Rolex was based upon the belief that it would save time for race prep by doing so. It will also allow Pratt & Miller more time to properly fix the C7R that caught fire in the Roar. The article also mentioned that the team tried a new fuel pump and a hand fabricated part in the new fuel line routing for said pump failed from a harmonic issue which caused the fire. The team reverted to the previous style pump and line routing for the race.

Bruno Senna has ran one of the Nissan's into another car during a video shoot.
Must.have.artwork.

I'm enjoying listening to Atherton tell me how great it is for the rest of the world that they get to watch the U.S. domestic series IMSA for free and uninterrupted while all we need is FS1 authentication/subscription  to see... well something worse.
