Well that was a rather tame podiun celebration from Reynolds  He's definitely spent. Great drive by him and Youlden.

Heartbreak of the day is Simona. Would have been 7th. Good drive all day for her and Russell. Well, she's felt the bite of the mountain.

I believe you would have to purchase a subscription to view the race from the US, if it's not on TV. @R1600Turbo or @LMSCorvetteGT2 would have a better idea though.

I don't purchase any subscriptions to any series I watch actually. So I couldn't tell him on here cause we're not suppose to with the method I use.

As for the series, I don't see how Scotty can win the championship at this point unless Fabian and Whincup have trouble at the next round. I know there are three races to go, but it just seems that those two haven't had too much trouble and been right there all season to collect when and if Scotty fails. A lot can still happen I guess, but that works both ways as seen yesterday.

There's only 7 points or whatever between Whincup and McLaughlin, so it's definitely on. Coulthard hasn't really had the outright pace of the others so I can't see him holding on. It'll definitely be interesting if Mostert and SVG get closer. One of the best Championships we've had since probably 2010.

Between those two sure, Fabian has a good gap at this point. Though you're right Fabian tends to falter more often then succeed.

Credit where it's due he and Pither drove extremely well. Kept the car clean and out of trouble. Phenomenal result for Erebus yesterday.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some humble pie to eat.
Pither, is the key name there. Keep the pie in the freezer. ;)

Scott can still do it. If he vets Pole in the last 6 races and the PRA cars scrap with Whincup, the #17 is in the clear.
Fabs' pace is actually keeping him out of trouble, but we'll see. 900 points left.

Some low life, oxygen thief that likes to get his thrills by bumping 8 year old girls out of his way.

Karma will catch up with him one day.

One can only hope, you and the rest of the supercars comments echo a similar sentiment. Sadly, the world is full of these kind of people. Luckily Reynolds is rectifying the situation as best he can and good on him for that. It shouldn't have to be done in an ideal world, but that's not how it is obviously. Just glad she'll get a race memento.

Yeah, i'd promote pither to the #4.
DePasquale should go to LDM with Stanaway.
If Bright goes, Stanaway in the #56 and Jacobson to LDM.

It would be quite something if a driver ran both the GP and a feature race in the same weekend.
It was something I wish would have happened at the Australian GP. Even when they had the celebrity races in the Meganes. Just to see an F1 driver race in a different type of car.
Not that it would happen, but the possibility of VASC at 4 F1 venues, maybe one or two chosen F1 drivers, gets a wildcard at those events. They'd get to know the car, that's for sure.
COTA, Monza, Silverstone, appear to be circuits with enough pit garages. Red Bull Ring would also be a cool track to see VASc visit.

All the more reason I would love to see Scotty be a champ, and because he's had a somewhat roller coaster career in the series up to this point.

I'm guessing it's been several decades since an active/current F1 driver has taken part in a support race of any kind, as well as the F1 GP.

Not like the days of Jim Clark or the like taking in the F1, F2, sportscar & touring car races on the same weekend.

They should bring back the international co-drivers at Albert Park. The likes of Earl Bamber said they would be keen but you'd hope for a rolling start if it were to happen.

I liked Holdsworth's "lowrider" photo, in the E63, back then. That's the challenge of Pukekohe.

This guy. (Responding to an FB post saying he'd rather give up the god lap for the Sunday win)
Scott McLaughlin:
Ah no. I actually really enjoyed Saturday, although Sunday was a tough gig, I’ll never forget that one lap. I’m 24 I’ll have another crack at this mountain a few times yet. Plenty of times for me to climb the fence Sunday arvo! Hope you have a beer on the couch watching it to Craig!
