I sure hope so. Considering they didn't announce it though along with the 93, I'm guessing its running it's regular livery. Last year's patriotic Acuras were my favorite of the 4th of July themed liveries.

Shank said it will be unveiled in a few days (Tuesday IIRC) so I think it will be something also patriotic or otherwise themed, not just the regular livery.

I can pretty much 100% guarantee the Fox Sports1 announcers for the 6 Hours will confuse this car with the 69 HART car with 93 of Shank...

Spotter Guide for the 6 Hours is up! Nice assortment of patriotic liveries in the mix. Can't wait to get to the track Friday morning with my new DSRL And for anyone else planning on attending, take note that the race day high is predicted to be 100* F local temp

Indeed. And considering that that's only air temperature, I can't imagine what the track temp could be with the Glen's darker newly paved surface under the sun. We might witness a pretty decent endurance test of both the cars and drivers in such heat over 6 hours.

Last time it was that hot was the first time I went. I think it took a month for my face to recover. Hopefully a bit older and wiser me can manage it a bit better this time.

Haha, that is my number one concern in such heat. A sombrero is definitely worth the judgement bestowed upon thee.

A good idea to stay cool for anyone going to the race. Bring a small cooler with you full of ice water and some dish towels. During the race, Soak the towels in the ice water and place them on the back of your neck. Really helps with the heat.

I also used soaked towels, but had them tucked into the back of my hat and down the back of my neck. Felt real good.

Hectic start, #90 spun, not sure if there was contact, and disaster for both Nissans, no where for them to really go...

With the two Fords starting 1 and 2 in GTLM , and the two 'Vettes right behind, looking forward to the prospect of a Ford V Chevy battle 👍.

Speaking of which #90 has gone backwards into the tyres, seemed to be a communication error as the #6 Penske Acura was trying to lap the #90. And one of the Nissans looked to be going slowly, might have just been getting out of the way to be fair.
