It is the final regular season month of NFL football. Successful teams have a chance to make the Playoffs; failing teams may get eliminated. So hope your team(s) is/are among the former.

Good luck to all of your favorite teams.

Josh Allen has some of the best pocket presence in the NFL and you cannot convince me otherwise.

For him it's like what Kenny Stills said but the other way around. He can't catch his own passes.

A.J. Green returned to the lineup today for the first time in 3 games and promptly injured his foot and had to be carted off to the locker room. Not sure if it was the same toe issue he had before or something new.

Whatever. Bengals lose again. Everyone is hurt. Marvin is still head coach. Still no hope in Cincinnati...

That last play was nuts. How he got that throw off, I don't know. It wasn't perfect placement, but Clay probably should have made the catch.

Meanwhile, here in Houston...

The Houston Texans defeated the Cleveland Browns 29-13 in Houston. Yep- nine straight wins. Most of the beast performance was by way of Houston's defense, forcing about four turnovers. Most of the other beast performance was early and often scoring by the Texans. The Brownies got devoured for the most part.

Up next for the Houston Texans... the final game of this three-game home stand is against division rival Indianapolis. We defeated Indianapolis in Indy in Overtime to spark this winning streak. Can the Texans win an unprecedented 10 straight? Eight straight heading into today's game is already their franchise best. They got nine straight now. They can go for ten straight wins if they take down the Colts next Sunday here in Houston.

Congratulations to all other winners, including Jacksonville ending their losing ways by sinking Indianapolis in Jacksonville.

Charles Clay should have had that ball...

...but he completely misjudged it since it wasn't a spiral. If Allen throws a spiral it should be a no problem catch in the middle of the endzone. But no matter what, Clay should've had it.

I don't get how the Lions play one of their better games of the year against a team that is for sure going to the playoffs but suck against teams equal to them.

Lions be Lioning.

Mike McCarthy just got the boot. While their may have been some tension recently, at least the man's teams racked up wins and a Super Bowl. So it begs the question, how the on God's green earth is Marvin still around in Cincy? :irked:

Redskins at Eagles TONIGHT!

Last night saw the Los Angeles Chargers defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Pittsburgh. Now, it's time for Pennsylvania's other NFL team to show what they are made of, as the NFC East is in vogue in the City of Brotherly Love. It's the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles ready to host the Washington Redskins. The Redskins are 6-5 on the season and 2nd in the NFC East. The Philadelphia Eagles are 5-6 and 3rd in the NFC East. Both teams are looking up at Dallas leading the NFC East. Who will prevail between these two NFC East foes tonight? We shall see!

--- ODDS ---
FAVORED: PHI (-4)
OVER/UNDER: 44.5 pts.

Enjoy tonight's game if you will be watching.

The Lions always show up and play a good game when they have no business playing that well. The Rams should've hung 50 points on them, but didn't. I honestly thought they were going to win too in a fluke fashion where Stafford throws a bomb with like 2 seconds left.

I was impressed with Taylor Decker too. Fat guy touchdowns are the best.

At least the next two games are against the Cards and the Bills, they should win both those pretty handily. They could beat the Vikings too and they'll lose spectacularly to the Packers in the last game of the season.

The final record should be 6-10, which is just good enough to get a mediocre draft pick that they'll waste on WR or something. They really need to draft a good O-Line to give Stafford some more protection. They also should look at QB's since Stafford doesn't really look like the guy he was a few years ago. Get someone now so they can learn the system. I fully expect the Lions to move on from him after 2020 since there's an opt out. I doubt they could trade him since his contract is stupid. Although, they could trade him to Jacksonville since Bortles still isn't a legitimate NFL QB.

But that makes sense and the Lions never do anything that makes sense. They'll probably keep Stafford on through 2023 and then resign him because a 35-year-old average QB is exactly what the Lions need /s.

Also, Jim Bob Cooter needs to get fired ASAP. Quick passes for 7-yards doesn't work, especially when Stafford is capable of chucking it down the field.

This is Week 14 of NFL action. Before we get to this week's matches, let's have a Standings Update check. Take a look and find your favorite team(s) in this section:

No Bye week teams this week. Now on to the prime time matches for this week.

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WK. 14): JAX Jaguars at TEN Titans
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WK. 14): LAR Rams at CHI Bears
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WK. 14): MIN Vikings at SEA Seahawks

Maybe the biggest non-prime time match this week is Philadelphia at Dallas.

That will be the end of this post. I hope your team(s) is/are doing well. I also hope your fantasy teams are doing well also. Good luck to all of your favorite teams.

Jacksonville Jaguars? Tennessee Titans? Would you two please do the honor of kicking off this week of NFL football tonight? That's right- the AFC South is in vogue and on display tonight as Jacksonville heads up to the Music City to meet the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football. Be sure to enjoy tonight's action if you'll be watching!

Spare some thoughts for Washington Redskins QB Alex Smith. Of late since his leg injury, he's suffered a potential career-ending infection from complications after multiple surgeries on his leg. Hoping for the best for this fellow. Alex Smith went down in the Redskins' game hosting the Houston Texans last month.

Time to continue this week of NFL football. Get excited for your favorite teams as well as any of you who have fantasy teams. The nightcap for this Sunday night is the Los Angeles Rams at the Chicago Bears. Also, teams can play for playoff berths or clinch divisions. Or... you may have a losing team trying to have the best NFL Draft hopes.

Regardless, enjoy the remaining games this week, and good luck to all of your favorite teams.

Nine... and no more. The Houston Texans' nine-game winning streak ends with a 24-21 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Sadly, it ended with JaDeveon Clowney with Neutral Zone Infraction with a 3rd and 1 for the Colts at the 2 Minute Warning. As an analogy, this was like losing a baseball game on a balk or a walk-off walk. So our record is now 9-4 while the Indianapolis Colts improve to 7-6. First loss in many weeks. It's a 🤬 way to lose, but it's a loss nonetheless.

Up next for the Houston Texans... our final two road games of the season begins with a trip to MetLife Stadium to meet Blitz24's New York Jets this Saturday. Then after that, it's a trip to the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles. Jets first, though.

Congratulations to all other winners from this week's games, including the New York Giants smashing the Washington Redskins on the road.

Third game this year, second game straight lost because of atrocious Special Teams play. The stuff that's supposed to be easy.

But ha ha 🤬 the Patriots.

Wouldve been nice if they won. But, they gain nothing from winning. He gets to learn from his mistakes while improving their draft choice. A good trade off.

Vikings at Seahawks TONIGHT!

Seattle may be all abuzz in the news as NHL hockey will return to Seattle starting with the 2021-2022 season. Seattle still misses its NBA team since the Supersonics became the Oklahoma City Thunder back in 2008 or so. They still have a solid WNBA team with the Seattle Storm. Anyhow, tonight is about Seattle's NFL team- the Seahawks. The Seahawks look to sparkle like diamonds in the Emerald City tonight against the Minnesota Vikings. Both teams are 2nd in their respective divisions. Can the 6-5-1 Vikes of the NFC North take down the 7-5 Seahawks of the NFC West? Get ready for some hard-hitting football in the Pacific Northwest!

--- ODDS ---
FAVORED: SEA -3
OVER/UNDER: 44 points

Enjoy the game if you'll be watching. As an extra note, I saw the play that the Miami Dolphins sunk the New England Patriots with. That is just a prime example of trying anything [legal] to win- and it worked. As a commercial once said, "it's only weird if it doesn't work." So congrats to the Dolphins on an improbable walk-off (to use baseball speak) win.

TE George Kittle of the 49er's had 7 catches for 210 yards yesterday AT HALFTIME!!! The record for most yards in a game is 214 by Shannon Sharpe. Kittle finished the game with 7 catches and 210 yards. You're telling me that SF couldn't figure out some way to get him that record IN AN ENTIRE HALF?!?!

I mean good for Kittle, but also screw him. I was all set to obliterate my opponent in the first round of the fantasy playoffs and then Kittle goes all "let's rack up yards" and I end up losing. Guess it didn't help that Goff forgot how to football too.

But hey, the Lions won so at least I got that going for me.

I had Cooks, Gurley and Zuerlein on the same team...not looking good in the playoffs. Down 40 heading into next week.

Week 15 of NFL football is here! But before we get to some of this week's matches, let's see who's IN the Playoffs after Week 14...

--- Who's IN! - AFC ---
...AFC East...
...AFC North...
...AFC South...
Kansas City (clinched berth)
...AFC Wild Card 1...
...AFC Wild Card 2...

--- Who's IN! - NFC ---
...NFC East...
...NFC North...
New Orleans (clinched NFC South)
Los Angeles Rams (clinched NFC West)
...NFC Wild Card 1...
...NFC Wild Card 2...

Now on to this week's matches. Some games will be played on Saturday.

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WK. 15): LAC Chargers at KC Chiefs
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WK. 15): PHI Eagles at LAR Rams
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (WK. 15): NO Saints at CAR Panthers

More teams may get at least playoff berths. Those already in the Playoffs have chances to sweeten the offer by winning their respective divisions or clinching a First Round Bye. Then... those out of it will likely try to improve their NFL Draft hopes. Season winding down- better make your move NOW!

Good luck to all of your favorite teams, even including those of you who have fantasy teams.

The Chargers are at the Chiefs tonight. The AFC West is in vogue tonight as the Los Angeles Chargers get a little Midwestern hospitality in the Show-Me State. Both teams may likely make the playoffs. Kansas City can win the AFC West and get a 1st Round Bye if they win tonight. LAC will get a playoff berth if they win tonight.

Enjoy tonight's game should you be watching.

The week continues today with Texans at Jets and Browns at Broncos. Enjoy the action!
