Apparently David Nugent is top of that list

Man United 1-1 Everton
Wolves 1-2 Spurs

Victor Lindelöf own goal for Everton and he was unlucky as the ball came off him, Mason Greenwood came off the bench to get the equaliser in the second half, I'm quite happy with a point.

A 91st minute Verthonghen winner got Spurs three points, Moura and Traore with the other goals.

Arsenal v Man City to come.

Stuff like that needs to be awarded after the game if the referee misses it. 5 games would be nice.

Arsenal 0-3 Man City

All three goals in the first half with two from De Bruyne and one for Sterling and the defending for the Sterling goals was some of the worst I've seen! Not a lot happened in the second half but City didn't have to do a lot, Arsenal played pretty well for spells but were never in the game.

City got lucky there another few minutes and they would have turned it around.

What a week for Ajax...

Depay might be ****ed for the rest of the season, including the EC. They think he ruptured one of the ligaments in his knee. 6-9 months recovery, at least. Which is a dang shame because he finally got his act together, both on and off the pitch.

Ferguson has made himself look like a tit with this Moise Kean stuff, then again I suppose it's just his inexperience coming through.

There have been instances of black people getting racially abused in Spain but no matches were ever suspended. You call one player a Nazi (which he kind of is) and the match gets shut down.

They're chimpanzees, which are apes and not monkeys.

Which obviously makes it better.

Lots of conflicting stuff regarding Ancelotti to Everton, Apparently he had a meeting with Everton which only lasted 20 minutes but also he has agreed a deal in principle to become their new manager, I've also read however that he wants to take a break and wont be available for jobs until the Summer.

Everton are supposed to be making a statement soon anyway.

Its the League Cup quarter finals this week and its all eyes on Liverpool as they play Aston Villa tonight and the semi final of the Club World Cup against Monterrey of Mexico tomorrow, they will field a team of under 23s against Villa tonight with Under 23 manager Neil Critchley taking charge and tomorrow's match they will have the first team squad, if they make it to the final on Sunday some of the under 23s who will play tonight will fly out to be part of the squad.

The Villa-Liverpool game is on Sky tonight and the other three EFL Cup games are on tomorrow night with Oxford v Man City on Sky, Monterrey v Liverpool in the CWC is on BBC Two tomorrow.

League Cup semi final draw.

Man City v Man United
Aston Villa v Leicester

It was bound to happen!

City beat Oxford 1-3, United beat Colchester 3-0 and Leicester beat Everton 2-4 on penalties after 2-2 in normal time.

Also it was the Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid tonight which was 0-0 and the first goal-less Clasico in 17 years.

Also also, Liverpool beat Monterrey 1-2 in their CWC semi final thanks to a 91st minute winner from Bobby Firmino, and they will now play Brazil Flamenco in the final.

Here are the games for this weekend.

Saturday
Aston Villa v Southampton
Bournemouth v Burnley
Brighton v Sheffield United
Everton v Arsenal (12.30 BT)
Man City v Leicester (5.30 Sky)
Newcastle v Crystal Palace
Norwich v Wolves

Sunday
Tottenham v Chelsea (4.30 Sky)
Watford v Man United (2pm Sky)

Mikel Arteta has been appointed new Arsenal head coach on three-and-a-half-year deal.

West Ham v Liverpool is not on this weekend as Liverpool have their CWC final tomorrow in Qatar.

So Arsenal get Arteta, while Everton look close to signing Ancelotti.

It seems the wrong way around, you'd think a "bigger" club like Arsenal would have snapped Ancelotti up in a second, but instead they're betting on a former player in his first job as full manager. Admittedly the last few years as Pep's right hand man for Mikel will count on his side and Arsenal are just going to have to gamble on that working.

How will Man City fare with Arteta gone too I wonder?

There is a trend right now which is former players as managers.
