Moise Kean is on his way to Everton for a medical ahead of a €30m move from Juventus. Rumor is that The Old Lady will have first chance at matching any future offer for the player.

This happened in the Benfica v. AC Milan friendly on Sunday. The new rule this season which includes goal kicks not needing to leave the 18 yard box anymore:

Quite a bit of news today...

Everton aren't the only ones getting an Italian wonderkid striker, Wolves have just confirmed the signing of Patrick Cutrone from Milan for around £23 million, they have also signed Jesus Vallejo from Real Madrid on loan.

Nicolas Pepe is on London ahead of his medical at Arsenal tomorrow.

Iddrissa Gueye has left Everton to join PSG for around £25 million, PSG have some great option in centre midfield right now!

Paulo Dybala's agent is in Manchester to discuss a potential deal with United involving Dybala and Lukaku, this comes after Italian sports newspaper Di Marzio reported that the deal for Bruno Fernandes is close, looks like stuff is happening!! 👍

In Friendly news, Spurs beat Real Madrid 1-0 thanks to a Kane penalty in the Audi Cup semi finals, Man United beat Norwegian outfit Kristiansund 1-0 thanks to a late Mata penalty, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's 18-year old son Noah was a late substitute for the hosts.

:(

So sad to see him go but I wish him the best. He had been with AC Milan since he was around 9 years old. If he puts in half the effort for Wolves as he gave to the Rossoneri, they will have gotten a bargain. Of course, Milan are reported to be spending over €30m on his replacement who has only played about 24 games in the French Ligue 1.

The FA has decided that Fernando Forestieri very definitely said the thing that the actual law courts said he didn't say, but also that he probably didn't mean it, and banned him for six games.

He's unsurprisingly appealed against the decision.

Tottenham won the Audi Cup beating Bayern Munich on penalties after normal time finished 2-2.

Juventus sporting director has flown into London for talk with Dybala and Lukaku's agents over the swap deal move, apparently the deal is 'almost done' with all that's left is Dybala agreeing the move.

The FA is free to have its own rules and enforce them as they see fit, like hypothetically it could ban players smoking even though smoking is legal, but I do agree that it's strange how they seem to be charging someone with breaking their own rules when the player has already been found not guilty of the offence in an actual court of law.

Arsenal have broken their transfer record to sign Nicola Pepe from Lille for £72 million, Pepe scored 22 goals in Ligue 1 last season from the right wing, he becomes the most expensive African player ever, the most expensive signing from Ligue 1 and the third most expensive Premier League signing.

Man City reportedly turn down offer for £75 million from Bayern Munich for Leroy Sane.

Tottenham have come in for Bruno Fernandes, the minute United were distracted by Dybala.

Transfer window closes next Thursday at 5pm.

Newcastle close to agreeing a fee with Nice for winger Allan Saint-Maximin.

Yet they didn't have any money for Kieran Tierney.
Apparently that is still being negotiated with Arsenal about to offer another figure soon.

Pepe was one of the most impressive Players in Ligue 1 last year, might be a big deal for them.

Big news in the last few hours.

Man United have agreed a fee with Leicester for Harry Maguire for £80 million, Maguire has yet to agree personal terms or have a medical.

Very happy with this. 👍

Same, it's a lot of money but I think we really need that type of defender to compliment Lindelof. We don't have anyone who is both a very good defender in general and also dominant in the air. The best we have in the air is probably Smalling, and he's not good enough to be first choice. Maguire is a notable upgrade on him and will improve us, so although it is a lot, it may well be worth it.

It will be interesting to see if we sign one of Dybala or Fernandes, if we got both I would be amazed but I certainly don't expect that. I would be happy with our transfer window if we got one of them after finalising the Maguire deal despite finding most of it frustrating so far, but saying that I am prepared for Maguire to be the last notable transfer we make this summer.

No news on Dybala or Fernandes so far today that I have seen, as far as I know Dybala has yet to agree to the move, the move is largely dependent on him.

I genuinely don't care about the Maguire fee, we needed a defender last year! We have had Smalling and Jones for the last 10 years and Maguire is a big upgrade on them, and I rather see us spending the money and not the Glazers back pocket.

Newcastle have signed Jetro Williams on loan from Frankfurt and Allan Saint-Maximin from Nice on a six year deal.

Yes I've read very mixed things on both Dybala and Fernandes, but I really would like us to sign one of them, well both of them would be my absolute preference, but I don't think we will. I think Dybala is more likely because their are currently ongoing discussions to make that happen. Woodward has been in London with Dybala's representatives today and no doubt talks will continue over the weekend. That makes me think it's all about personal terms and if that's the case, we either want him or we don't IMO.

If he is asking for 300k-350k per week then so be it, that's the going rate for a player of his caliber these days. I suppose the risk is, if he would prefer to stay at Juventus but is only going to accept that to move here because Juventus are pushing him out, could he be another Di Maria and be gone in a year or two.

Personally, I rate him and would take the risk, he can play in the no 10 role or right wing and the thoughts of having a team with him and Bruno in really excites me.... I just don't believe that will actually happen. The Fernandes to Tottenham stories worry me, if we don't get him, I don't want him going to Tottenham instead. They have already signed Ndombele and I think that will prove to be a good signing. I don't want them also signing one of the hottest attacking midfielders in Europe right now as well.

Great win for Swansea under the new boss given him his first win, completely forgot we had Borja Baston to replace Oli McBurnie, who went to Sheffield United for a record fee.

Man United beat AC Milan in the ICC on penalties in Cardiff after 2-2 in normal time, Pogba missed the game because of a back spasm, at least that what Ole said, loads of rumours that he is pushing a move to Real through.

Man City have won the Community Shield for a third successive season after beating Liverpool 5-4 on penalties, the game finished 1-1 in normal time with Sterling and Matip getting the goals.

Harry Maguire has completed his medical at United's training ground.

Edit.

In some big news it turns out that Man United have pulled out of the Dybala move because of the players wage demands and his lack of desire to join the club.

Its a shame but he doesn't want to join, and that's it. we have bought and are buying a player who want/wanted to join the club. we have only got a few days left to get a midfielder in now though.

After tonight we'll probably have news on Fernandes. The portuguese supercup is being played atm and I think Sporting will make everything official soon.

Just me guessing ofc.

So let me get this straight, the Top 4 Leagues get 4 teams each instantly into the group Stages but a team like Ajax who won their league has to start the Champions League from the 3rd Qualifying round.

UEFA is a Shambles.

Mostly correct, but there is more to it than that. Each league is rated, so the champions of the top 10 leagues get automatic entry into the group stages. THe Netherlands is ranked 11th, so just misses out on that, instead getting entry into the Play-Off Round along with the champions of the 12th ranked country, which currently is Austria.

Ajax are in the 3rd Round playing POAK, I understand the UEFA ranking system, I'm highlighting the heavy Favouritism to the bigger leagues, as not that long ago only the top 2 teams from the top 3 leagues got Automatic qualification, now it's even more top heavy.

Fair enough, I just assumed you weren't sure of the ranking system, it's definitely top heavy .

Harry Maguire officially a Red, five year contract with the option of another year, very happy with this as he is a big upgrade on what we've got in defence, now we need to try and sign a midfielder and potentially a striker before 5pm Thursday.

Simon Mignolet moved to Club Brugge from Liverpool yesterday and Liverpool have signed Adrian as his replacement, Adrian was a free transfer after his release from West Ham.

Gary Cahill has joined Crystal Palace on a free.

Any news on how Leicester will spend that money? I assume they will at least sign another center back before the deadline.

Man City have almost completed a swap of Danilo plus €28m for Cancelo of Juventus. Doesn't make much sense if you are Juventus but they probably need the cash.

Dybala is rumored to have been holding out for a transfer to PSG. Italian outlets report that Dybala, Mandzukic and Matuidi will be gone this window for a high profile player. Cough: Neymar :Cough.

Wayne Rooney is reportedly leaving DC United in January for Derby County where he will become a player-coach.

Arsenal captain Koscielny has gotten his wish and leaves England for French side Bordeaux in Ligue 1.

Laurent Koscielney has managed to wrangle a move to Bordeaux for £5m away from Arsenal.
