Rain sprinkles being reported on pit road, meanwhile, a fierce battle for the lead!
Edit: #31 to the lead!

Watching the 3 way scrap for the lead between the 2 Cadillacs and the Acura, the Caddy’s really pull out of the corners much harder than the Acura. Interesting to see the visible performance difference.

Nasr trying to out Sandstorm the Sandstorm, not working so far. Now he’s got him through the bus stop.

Shae Adam reporting spots of rain in the pits.

Shae Adam saying the rain is supposed to stick around for the rest of the race. Hopefully it’s only mild rain, fingers crossed it’s not red flag rain like a couple years back

Cars coming in for wet tires!
Edit: Everyone pitting for wets. Heavy rain!
Edit: #66 is the first to slide off track. Off in the International Horseshoe and into the tires. Has got back on track and continued on.
Edit: #18 in the pits with rear end damage and right front damage.

#66 didn't have its wiper on for some reason while approaching the bus stop behind a prototype with almost zero visibility. :scared:

So Nasr leads Overall from 2nd by 105 seconds. DPi race pace has slowed by 17-20 seconds.

Edit: Caution is out for debris in turn 6.

#5 has gone off track. Rear end damage. and pulling a banner around the track.
Edit: Straight to the garage.
Edit: #18 into the tires at the international horseshoe. got the car moving and continued on.
Edit: #18 overshoots turn 1.

Edit: #4 has crashed into the tires in turn 1 hard.
Caution is out.

Alex Zanardi is in the #24 again.

Restart is being delayed due to standing water in turn 1 and The Bus Stop.

Just woke up - gonna go back to sleep - and very sad to see that the second Mazda is gone, too. It seems that for new the DPi battle has only 3 contenders on the same lap while GTLM has still 6 and GTD has like 10.

Before I went sleeping I was just watching the GTLM battles, those factory guys had absolutely no rest, constant battle during greens.

EDIT: just looking at the first 10 in the GTD field... wide variety of cars, both Lexuses there and the all ladies #57 at 8th place, very much open racing - provided there will be green in the next 7 hours and 22 minutes...
